We spent one night at this hotel to attend an athletic event. The staff was friendly and helpful. We had a wonderful, spacious king suite. It was beautifully furnished and well-lit with multiple lamps. The bed was comfortable and the linens were in good condition. The bathroom was well-lit for a hotel bathroom. The entire suite was immaculately clean. The hotel is near Coleman Coliseum and the football stadium but too far for most people to walk. Transportation is needed to get to campus and restaurants but both are within a short driving distance. As another reviewer noted, it is located on the edge of the severe tornado damage of April 2011. The devastation is still clearly evident from the hotel. The hotel and grounds are in excellent condition and are very well tended. The breakfast is typical of HI Express hotels -- cinnamon rolls, fruit, yogurt, cereals, milk, juice, bacon, eggs, gravy and biscuits and a pancake maker. The food was kept replenished and the breakfast staff was friendly and helpful.
