first off, the rooms are very dirty and the plaster wall are moldy. second , when you go to the front desk you are greeted by a barefoot manager named campbell [--].who completely thinks her way is the only way take it or leave it attitude,this hotel will not be in business long with her in charge. i feel sorry for anyone trying this in the future you will definately regret it!!!!!!! Stayed here while traveling. Slightly older hotel, but the room was clean and the breakfast was good. Price average of those of slightly higher caliber. Hot breakfast was good. Parking area a little questionable around back for a woman traveling alone. Noisy "soldiers and fisherman" partying a bit much, but overall not bad.

5 stars due to price to quality of stay received. Things I liked for the price:

special reduced rate before tax of $52 helped with review evaluation. Surprised breakfast with choice of eggssausage/biscuts/make your own waffle/cereal/oj/apple juice/danish/or coffee was included with the regular hotel rate.

A friendly staff from hotel desk to maids.

hot tub was indoors-clean and hot and would hold probable 20 people.

wi fi from rooms free

free coffee available in lobby all day. (caffeine addict)

Things to improve on:with minimum increased cost per guest at hotel: 1. add a tv on both sides of wall next to hot tub to allow tv viewing in tub or from chairs in lobby. 2. add a tv on wall of eating area to allow viewing while eating breakfast.

Despite the bad reviews we did not have much money so we tried this hotel.-It was clean! It did not have a bad smell. And I am very sensitive to smells like mold, dust, and smoke. And we could park the car right outside the room. I felt safe(somehotel parking lots are just plain creepy). We got a fishermans discount. The lobby was hot and stuffy in mid day, but the who sleeps in the lobby? We did not try breakfast there so I can't comment on that. And the bar was across lobby from our room and we never heard anything from it. The pool was out of order, but they gave us a discount for that! -They hunted us down and gave us our discount money back after we had already paid, just because the pool was not usable that week. I thought the bed was comfortable and that is a lot coming from me. Where else could you stay that is clean and that inexpensive!?
