This is a typical 3+star hotel in Shanghai. It is walking distance from the South Shanghai Stadium (about 1000m) which is line 1. IT's a little older than most in center city, but it is well kept and the staff are helpful - though they do not speak much english.
You'll have to pay for internet (62RMB/day), but it seems to work well (hard wired only). Breakfast is 78RMB/day - if you want - or you can get the breakfast when you book your room. There are lots of places to eat near by and attached to the hotel (Chinese, Thai, and Japanese). There's a food /convienience store, McDonald's etc at the stadium, which is about 1000m away. IF you are heading to Everbright Conference Center, it's a short cab ride, or you can take the metro to CaoBao Rd and walk...another 1000m. The prices, if you are watchful for the reservation are reasonable for what you get - a workout room, pool, etc.

Great overall experience if price is not an issue. Rooms are well designed, bathroom and overall funcionality are of the best in Asia. If your doing business in Pudong , I suggest either the Park Hyatt, or ShangriLa( for overall service. The gym is small however always empty. Hotel is quiet, very private, upscaled in every detail. Beds are comfortable and far better then typical 5 even 6 star hotels here in China.
Venture out of the building for good less expensive local resturants located in the SWFC. Walking distance to Brand Mall. Take time for a massage at GREEN MASSAGE located in the SWFC.
All rooms are pretty much the same, except for the Park Hyatt Suit which is really a great layout should you need to entertain. The downside is that the Park Hyatt does not offer a business floor, like Horizon Floor @ Shangri-La Hotels.
