Taxi drivers do not know where it is, it smells (but hey ho it is shanghai and it all smells), Fairly moderate all round. Nice spacious room and clean and tidy. We could not spend one night in there as there was a concert taking place in the stadium. A very average stay in a dreary hotel. But on the plus side it was close to the exhibition centre I was working in....

This hotel is nice, a huge reception area and very good breakfast. It is very convenient if you are planning a day trip to Suzhou, Zhouzhuang etc as the local bus station is right next door! I highly recommend taking the local bus and do a day trip yourself, it is easy to just buy a bus ticket and wander by yourself the whole day in that area and go back to the same spot at the stipulated time. (I managed that with my limited Chinese) & its cheaper too. Besides the great location, also near the metro, the rooms are clean, and it is interesting to be staying in a hotel that is built into a wall of the stadium. However, you have to pay for internet - its like USD 18 / day.

Our room was comfortable with a view of the city. Lobby area spacious. Breakfast was amazing, so much to choose from. It is located near a subway and taxis are right outside the door. It's part of a sports complex with gym equipment located around the area in a huge parking area. The hotel sent a van to pick us up at the Maglev train station which was helpful. We would stay here again.

Its located in the Shanghai Stadium used during the Olympic Games. So space is in opulance. Nicely done but can be little run down here and there particularly some rooms. The rooms looking out of the stadium is better than the one which looks inside (just a wall or stairs in front of the window). Located in the heart of the Xuhui Business dist is well connected with Bus service and metro. Also a pleasure for IKEA fan being close to the IKEA store. Room service is quick and decently priced. Coffee Shop buffet is huge and good but slow and reluctant waiters. Language is the biggest problem if you don't speak chinese. The operator and other associates in the hotel takes lot of time to understand your requirement because of the language barrier. Good options of restaurant. Nice gymnasium. Spa facility also available but expensive. Most of the rooms particularly the one facing out of the stadium are bigger, nicely furnished and clean. Good internet speed. Lastly a good price.
