The Hotel is centrally located near Peoples Square and Nanjing Road. The room was fantastic with a good sized queen bed, a small seating area and a desk. In the bathroom there was a separate shower and bath. I was only there for one day so didn't get to experience much within the hotel. I had to leave at 05:00 in the morning the breakfast box that was prepared was a little disappointing hence the knocking off 1 point. However 99% of people would eat breakfast in the hotel which I hear is good for both Eastern and Western visitors.

Oh boy did we strike gold when we chose this hotel to stay in Shanghai. Such a great location. It was a five star plus hotel. There were three restaurants to choose from. The staff was English speaking and very accommodating. The rooms were extemely clean, modern and ornate. They were also very roomy. The bathrooms were large as well. The bath towels were fluffy and as big as sheets. There were toothbrushes, emery boards, sewing kits, and razors along with the standard soap, shampoo, conditioner and lotion. There was even bath salts to use in the seperate bathtub. I would definitely stay here again.

I booked the hotel for 5 nights following the recommendation from Trip Advisor. It is a right choice. The location is right at the pedestrian site of Nanjing Rd, 150 meter away from line 2 metro station, close to most attraction around Nanjing Rd and line 2 metro station.
The hotel lobby is huge and comfortable, the hotel staff are courteous. Concierge staff can't be more helpful. One of them is Hunter, speak English quite well and help me even to get a local sim card. The room is huge, nice big bathroom, you can even ask for pillow of your choice that you never know it is exist. The swimming pool is great, it has a lifesaver waiting for you if you are swimming on your own. Experience your self and enjoy it.

The lobby was modern and well mantained, the room is up to date with todays generation as each room was fitted with an ipod docking alarm clock. The room was well maintained which truly lives up to the five star standard. I'd would certainly choose this hotel if you like modern and well maintained hotel.
