“Fantastic Beautiful Resort Great for Families”

Malolo Island is a beautiful resort which has well maintained bures right on the beach. The Terrace Restaurant has a different theme each night and the food is always beautiful. The Beach Bar is also great for lunches and dinner and right on the water. There are only about 45 bures at the resort which keeps it nice and intimate, there is a fantastic kids club which is free and always has great activities for the kids. They have two swimming pools, one is adults only. There is also an adults only restaurant. Great activities to do such as island hopping, dolphin safari or other trips if you wish to otherwise there is plenty to do on the island such as kayaking, banana boat rides, snorkeling right out the front of your bure or just have a rest in the hammocks and relax. Leilani's Spa is a great place to go and get a massage or facial. The staff are friendly and beautiful people. It is definitely worth the trip to Malolo Island.

“Great Tropical Getaway”

My wife and I and our 2 kids (5 and 8 months) spent 4 nights at Malolo Island resort from 26 December.

We had a fantastic time. Our bure was very modern and comfortable. The bure was a stones through to the beach and late afternoons were spent having a drink on the verandah taking in the carefree atmosphere. Our 5 year old had a great time at the kids club but we were also comfortable letting her explore the beach and resort grounds and she had a blast. The staff were great with the kids and our 8 month old was whisked off us at every opportunity to allow us to eat our meals or enjoy a drink and to let the staff get their cuddles.

The food on the island is very good. Between the 3 restaurants there is plenty to offer and the quality is surprisingly of a very high standard.

Mostly we loved the carefree environment and it seemed every guest had left their hassles behind and it was so relaxing to be amongst that atmosphere. We particularly appreciated that feeling as we spent the following 4 nights at the radisson in denarau and whilst its a nice resort it was a rat race of people compared to the island experience.

Highly recommend for families or couples. They cater for families very well.

I dare say we will be back.

“Fantastic family holiday, definitetly going back!!”

This was our 4th visit to Fiji (10 different resorts) over the past 4 years. We stayed in Fiji for 16 nights over Christmas and New Year, 7 nights at Malolo. It is fantastic! The staff are welcoming, friendly and entertaining.

The food was good, especially the buffets, I must say I am usually not a buffet eater, but they were great. I was a little dissapointed in the kids buffet and kids eat free menu, as they were very basic. Most probably suited to the younger kids, but my 10 year old ate from the adult menus and we just paid for her meals, which we expected to do anyway. But this is the only negative thing I can say. We did have a meal plan (BLD), and was definitely the way to go. Happy Hour is good, a chance to catch up with those you have met on your stay. 30 % off cocktails, and 15% off spirits.

Can't give any Kids Club info as our daughter didn't use it.

The accommodation was great, we stayed in an Ocean view bure, it was clean and comfortable. It was attended to daily by lovely house keeping staff. Laundry can be sent for $15 FD and returned within 24 hours (if you send early morning, you can get it back by same evening).

We did the Dolphin Safari and snorkeling trip, it was well worth the money, saw lots of dolphins, and you might even get the chance to see a 'Huge' Turtle, like I did . Snorkeling off the sand bar was great too. Snorkeling off the beach is good, go out a little further and to the far end of the resort for better coral and fish, but over all, all is great.

Also did the Shell Village, (Yaro village), this is a chance to see the local villagers, where they live and learn a little more about their culture. The ladies here sell handicrafts and jewellery to help support their families and village, a great way to give back to the community.

The activities crew are fantastic, they enjoy a laugh and we even got roped into some evening games. The music trio at meal times and happy hour were amazing, this is what makes me feel relaxed and that I am somewhere special, which the previous resort we stayed at lacked.

New Year's Eve was fantastic, great show, great food, great fireworks.

We would definitely go back, this resort is definitely not over priced, like some others close by.

All staff were friendly, happy and relaxed, and every night at about 11pm you can hear them all laughing as they through each other in the pool!! After spending 5 days in plantation I regret the time I wasted there aftet visiting Malolo. Freddy, Appi & Emily, Miri, Kelli, Ellie & the guitar boys.. We will miss u!!
