Is a nice place. The beach is very tidal and not white and long. The breakfast is included, but spare buffet. There is a mealplan for 55,-pp ,but also spare. They even charge you extra for rice and when you ask for some bread, its often “finished”. Well we have got a good rate, so its repealing the cons. The beachvolleyball is behind in the grass -no sand- with the mozzies.

Beautiful island, great snorkelling. Amazing place to visit if you want to relax as that is all you can do here. We arrived on the same day as the mosquito sprayers, so had no troubles with the mosquitoes at all. The trails are overgrown, but worthwhile on a nice day to go exploring.
If you don't need a resort that has non-stop entertainment or overpriced food - come here!

We've just got back from Naigani Resort after a lovely, hot weekend basking on their beautiful beach with clear waters and sands. Picnic Beach is a hidden gem with some of the best snorkelling we've seen in Fiji. Staff are lovely and always make you feel welcome, it's a very laid back resort with great food and spacious rooms. We didn't get any trouble from bugs at all - maybe the time of year? Who knows, but we'll be definitely going back there and hope to take friends and family there next year!

My husband and I have just come back from four wonderful days on Naigini Island. This is a great place for those that don't require to be entertained continuously. We loved everything about it, the accommodation, the tranquility, the meals, the beach, the staff and most of all the snorkeling, the best I have ever done. It took quite a bit of getting to but all arrangements went smoothly. Some sites describe it as self catering and with kitchens but this is not true. There are tea making facilities and a fridge and some cutlery but that is all. We had taken some simple food for lunches and asked for plates which were supplied.

The accommodation was pleasant, airy and clean. We had a studio unit which was quite large and furnished with chairs and a coffee table. The house keeper came in every day to service the unit. The mosquito netting over the windows was sound. There were a few mossies about outside and I did get the odd bite but that was when I forgot to put insect repellent on in the evening.

We found the meals very good value and very tasty except for desert one night. A highlight was a perfectly cooked coral trout which had been caught that afternoon. There was plenty of fruit for breakfast as well as tasty extras such as freshly cooked muffins or scones along with toast and cereals.

The snorkeling was just great and there were kayaks available and fishing trips and other boat trips. My only criticism would be that prices for the activities should have been included on the activities board. They were in the information book that was suppose to be in the bures but we didn't have one. We took some interesting walks and swam in the sea and pool. You could be as active or as lazy as you wished.

We enjoyed interacting with the staff and found them friendly and helpful. Don't go to Naigini Island if your idea of a holiday is plenty of glitz and glamour and continuous entertainment. But if you like peace and tranquility in beautiful surroundings with activities to do if you wish to then this is the place for you.
