I spent the weekend at the LaQuinta Inn in Prattville while I was visiting Montgomery. The hotel had superior customer service and the management was very helpful in helping their guest know the area and ensured that their guest had a wonderful visit. The hotel rooms were very cozy and had enough room in them with a microwave, refrigerator, a flat screen television and the hotel was a smoke free facility. The hotel had great parking and was close to restaurants and there were many retailers nearby within a 10 to 15 minute drive away and the hotel was close to the highway. The breakfast was great and they served waffles, eggs, sausage, cereal, juice and bagels and the hotel was very clean with a fitness center and a business center. I would recommend this hotel because the rooms were reasonably priced and they had enough options for breakfast to serve their guest needs.

It's a LaQuinta. You know what to expect. Someone has tried to dress this one up a bit, but their taste is not very sophisticated. Tends to run to lots of angels and frou-frou. Painting one wall in the room red tries to pass for chic. it was clean, easy to find, and easy check-in. Even on Hotwire the price is a bit high for what you get. The fitness center was closed.

Traveling through Alabama on Saturday, we were calling ahead to make reservations in Montgomery, but the Montgomery hotels we called were booked up. One of them gave us this hotel's number. We were very lucky, we got their last room. It was a King Executive Room. End of the hall on the top floor, great room, clean and ready for use. We found all the amenities in the room we needed. The next morning went down for breakfast, found everything at the continental breakfast we needed. Plenty of choices. The hotel staff we meet was very friendly, and outgoing. Making sure we had everything we needed, including the person working the breakfast area.

We just returned from our trip to Prattville. We were staying in prattvile for my daughter's softball tournament., so we had a very large group with 30 rooms booked. To start off with, I booked the rooms 2 months in advance through the " group sales" department. I called back to add a room on to my reservation and the hotel had lost my reservation. They were able to rebook because there was plenty of availability. When we arrived the staff was extremely rude! We got to out room and the first thing I smelled was sewage! We had a jacuzzi tub in our room, yet the room was so small! The tub took up the whole room and was larger than the bed. In order to get in the tub you had to move a dusty fake tree in order to take a bath. Not to mention it looked like they had shaved a gorilla in the tub the night before. The kids were excited because they had a pool. Let me tell you that I recommend checking any pool from now on before taking a dip. There were millions of particles,hair,bugs,and my daughter found a ball of hair stuck between her toes. We complained and they closed the pool and they said they had no one to clean it until the following week. Now keep in mind we had at least 40 children at this hotel who now had nothing to do. That is just ridiculous! The next day went to breakfast. It was suppose to end at 9:00 a.m. The breakfast staff put everything up 30 minutes before. Then I complained and she said that I could come back to the pantry and get a few things. There was not one thing that was edible. How can you mess up toast? When I went to pour the milk on my cereal the date on the carton was 3 days past due! I have stayed at many La Quinta Inns and never had any problems, but this one was the worst. The room was small,dirty, bed linens stained, tub and shower scummy. The staff were all rude and charged someone elses room to our credit card. The halls smelled of sewage. The parking lot had trash all over it. The continental breakfast had stale food and ended early. The overall experience of this trip was a nightmare! IWe had to stay 3 nights because everything was booked. I will never stay at any La Quinta again!!!! The price at $120/night is no kind of deal for this dump. Whatever you do don't go with the jacuzzi suite unless you like your tub to take up your walking space. I would not stay there for free! La Qunta has always been my reliable hotel when I need somewhere to stay for business or just passing through. Never again!!
