“Many other local options-Use them!”

I booked this hotel for 2 days for 3 people because I had some points to use with Country Inns and Suites. I emailed this hotel directly asking if they had a room that would sleep 3 adults in 3 beds. I got a reply back that said, that it would be no problem - a roll out bed was available, and no cost was mentioned. I then booked on the hotel website, adding in the comments section that I need a room with 2 beds and a roll out bed. I was quoted a discounted price for 3 adults with my points, and I (thought) I was good to go.
When I got to the hotel, the gal behind the counter said "They didn't tell you there was an extra charge for the roll out bed, did they?" I said no, but she said she would not delete the charge. I went to the room with the clerk as she brought up the extra bed. THERE WAS NO PLACE IN THE ROOM FOR THE ROLL OUT BED TO FIT! I asked if another, larger, room was available and that I would pay the extra cost. She said no larger room with 2 queen size beds existed! I then asked why wasn't I told this, and she replied that this had never happened to her before-(I bet). We had to move furniture around to squeeze in the roll out bed. The sheets for the roll out were also for a queen size bed and over 2x the size of the roll out.
When I checked out and I was asked if everything was OK, by the large desk clerk. I said that I wasn't told of the extra charge and that it was impossible to move around in the room with the extra bed. His reply was that the Country Inns website was at fault. I told him that I had contacted the hotel DIRECTLY, and it was not the fault of the company website. I also said that the maid had not made up the roll out. He replied "Really? I'll make a note of that" while he didn't make a move to do anything.
I had stayed in this hotel when it had first opened and it was much nicer and better run. If you want a nicer, cheaper place, stay in the Sleep Inn next door to it. If you want a much nicer place for the same money, stay in the Hampton Inn across the road. I have recently stayed in both of those places and they are muchbetter.

I booked this hotel for four days at a cost of 315.00 the first room they put is in the desk chair had food stuck to it the bedding was completly stained . I then called the font desk manager and had her come up to the room .at that point they moved me to another room where the bathroom door had urine all down it . i despertly tryied to checkout since i booked through hotels .com they had me convinced that i had to get my money from them and that they had not even been paid yet. which was completly untrue but hotels .com is at fault as well because they told me if i would just stay the one night i would only be charged for that knight I BEGGED THE GENARL MANGER MILLAN PATEL the next morning to refund the remainder of my stay he refused and would not give me any type of reciept told me that i could leave but was not checking me out but i was not allowed to go back to my room. and i have filed aclaim with my credit card company but i dont think it isgoing to help me .their was also another guest complaing about their bedding the next morning .this hotel was aboustley horrible. there was also something wrong with their pool you could not even stand in their for more than two minutes with out your eyes burning.this was a 90.00 a night hotel they act like their was nothing wrong with their rooms or service Isaid i am willing to pay for the one knight that istayed just give me my money back for the remainder they refused please do not stay here.

“Great room and nice pool!”

I was extremely happy with my room at Country Inn. The room was clean, comfortable, and the bed was nice. The indoor pool was small, but my wife and 3 year old were the only ones swimming. I will stay there again for a night with the wife.

“Hotel did not live up to reputation”
2 of 5 stars Reviewed 13 April 2010

We had two rooms reserved in advance. Upon arrival our rooms were the first two rooms on the ground floor, directly across from the elevator and housekeeping. Somewhat understandable if we were walk-ins, but we had reservations. The rooms were extremely noisy all day and night. The desk clerk took at least 5 minutes to attend us, she was walking around the area, straightening up.
Our suite had a very worn sofa and a lamp with no on/off switch. The bathroom had urine around the toilet and dust/dirt on the counter top.
We have stayed with this chain in other locations and were very disappointed this time, especially since we had brought family/guests with us.

“A great hotel that is very clean!”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed 14 October 2009

We stayed at this hotel splitting up our trip from FL back to Little rock. The entire hotel was very clean! The continental breakfast had so many choices. Waffles, biscuits and gravy, yogurt, doughnuts, scrambled eggs..too many to list. We tried out the indoor pool, which was a little on the chilly side, but still tolerable. Make sure you have some floaties if you have little kids. The town is bigger, with Target and many restaurants. We were very pleased with our stay! Find a McDonald's before getting to your hotel and there is a coupon for a cheaper room in the Alabama hotel guide.
