Don't get me wrong: We love New Orleans! Nonetheless, during those hazy, hot & humid days of summer, a respite along the coast is much desired. Orange Beach was a random hit found on this site, and it was a homerun! An easy drive from Lousiana, we arrived at our destination and immediately stormed the beach...The pristine sand was pearl white. The aquamarine water was transparent with schools of fish underfoot and dolphins swimming in the distance. We were able to rent our beach loungers & umbrellas for three days from a charming young man, originally from Brazil. Back inside, the Inn was immaculate and the Southern hospitality was warm and welcoming. In addition, there is a small indoor-outdoor pool with beach chairs and a bar alongside. For meals, we were directed out to the nearby wharf for fresh seafood. One evening we drove to the heralded Florabama and enjoyed a few sets of local country tunes & cold beer at one of the oldest roadhouse venues stll standing. Upon heading back to NOLA, we traveled along Alabama byways and took an aged ferry back to the highway in Mississippi, looking forward to our return next summer...
Room Tip: Plan your trip at the end of summer season. The rates are lower and the crowds nonexistant.

Debra077,
Thank you for the kind review you gave of our hotel. Our hotel prides itself on excellent customer service and we are glad to hear that you were able to experience that while you stayed with us. The heated indoor-outdoor pool is definitely one of our guests favorite spots to hang out, besides the beach of course.
Keep us in mind next time you are in the Gulf Shores or Orange Beach area. We look forward to having you as a guest in our hotel again soon.
