I came here on a girls trip. We had read reviews that this was one of only a few actual resorts in the area. Orange beach is mostly condos and hotels. We wanted a little more luxury for the weekend. We were pleasantly surprised! Upon our arrival the bell woman helped us and was very friendly and offered tips on where to go, etc. She even set up our alcohol like it was a bar in our room! Our view and room was amazing! Very spacious, even if it was slightly dated. Came with all the necessities like a fridge, microwave, 2 vanities, etc. The property itself has an amazing poolside area! In summers they have a DJ out there and it's gorgeous! The property is located right on the edge of the perdido key so you can see all the yachts coming in from sea to the mainland. It IS located on the beach, but there is quite a long walk from the resort down to the sand (check it out on google earth) so I'd suggest smaller coolers or you'll be getting a workout. They offer beach chairs and umbrellas of course. The property has an arcade, several restaurants and 1 that is rated in the top 10 best in the whole area is located at this resort! They also have a pizza place, an outdoor eating area that serves basics for lunchtime, they have nice bar area, gift shop, indoor pool, spa, workout facility, and their outdoor bar serves their local favorite drink... the Bushwacker. Our stay was wonderful and we had no issues whatsoever. We had so much fun that we knew we would come back again for another girls trip! While I was down visiting again this recent December they had this closed for a large renovation to update the facilities so I think our next trip back it will be even better!
