We were here for 3 nights mid December for my daughter's graduation from Auburn Univ. The hotel was absolutely fabulous. The bed and pillows were soooo comfortable. The breakfast was really, really good. The room was very clean, the towels were great. The internet access was good too. All of the staff were super friendly and pleasant. It is located close to the interstate and also close to shopping. I look forward to staying there again some day!!

Hampton Inn Opelika has everything I love about Hampton Inn chains. Relaxed atmosphere, clean lobby and rooms, friendly staff, comfortable rooms, and breakfast.
I've said it before and I'll say it again, I'd take Hampton Inn over a Westin ANY DAY.

My husband and I stayed one night at this Hampton Inn. You want quality and outstanding service, this is the place. The young lady who checked us in went out of her way to accomodate my husband, who is a smoker. Upon checking-in she told us that all of the hotels at this exit, off of I-85, were non-smoking. She was going to call a few other hotels at the next exit, but then said she could do better then that. She proceeded to upgrade our room to a suite, which was only one door from the pool entrance, where my husband could then go out to smoke at the pool. We were really impressed that she thought about how to accommodate us and keep our business at this Hampton Inn. Then when I mentioned I wanted to go shopping, she printed out directions to the local shopping area and the mall, even going as far as highlighting the kind of stores I mentioned I wanted to go to. The suite was beautiful with a wet bar, microwave, fridge, computer desk, pull-out sofa and king size bed. It also had a large dressing area with a vanity and mirror doors on the closet. It was fresh an clean and the bed was soft and cozy. The TV was about a 42 inch flat screen, really nice. Breakfast was hot and fresh with a nice assortment of foods. The hotel was fairly new and really nice. We really enjoyed our stay at this hotel. There were many great restaurants nearby.
