“Should be prosecuted...”

I needed a place to stay for the night, a comfortable place, because I was tired from driving from Dallas to see my friend in the Army at the base in Columbus.
It was like black ink out there at night, my eyes were blurred from trying to read non-existent signs that exist in this part of the world.
Trying to get to Fort Benning.
I went in desperate to this motel, hoping for some comfort.
I do not need much, just a bed that doesnt smell too bad, and a little quiet.
Never did I expect what I encountered at this place in our great country.
I am not a bible thumper or a racist, I am a human being, and what I had to endure at this motel is not of this world.
It is bad. I checked into the room, payed for it at the counter.

Proceeded to the door of the room around from the booth, and found a gathering of about 6 or 7 black males and 3 or 4 white women loitering the front of the door.
A quick entry was performed with all my belongings and 2 dogs.

Then the bad stuff started to happen immediatey.
There was a sticky black hair pick, the kind you see stuck in the heads of AFRos', my God. who has an afro, on the bed.
There were crushed crackers on the floor. The room smelled of something that was terribly wrong, I do not know how to describe it...No need to express my discontent at the sudden pounding of the 18 inch subwoofers in the back of the Ford Probe outside my door selling drugs through the window to one of the white girls...

I left my leather jacket in my hasty exit...

The first sign of trouble should have been the front office that welcomes you with their policy of not refunding nightly or WEEKLY rates. There were also postings that listed their policy againist having any liability in the event you are robbed or criminally wronged. All the previous views are dead on except the guy from NY who said the enitrely opposite. My friends and I didn't feel safe leaving anything of value in the room or leaving are vehicles there. The rooms are easy to break into and there are plenty of spooky characters walking around and living there. We were offered every sin under the sun. It really dampened our spirits for the entire weekend and we stayed there only because it was the only place to stay for the UF/Auburn game. Even if this is the only hotel available do not stay here you will hate every moment of it.

“horrible”

I have never in my life stayed at a most disgusting hotel. I walked in and found on the table stains from soda or something sticky. The beds had been slept in with hair and who knows what else. The pillows were yellow and flat. The comforters were so nasty that we could not even cover with them. There was urine in the toilet and soap scum and mold in the shower. The bathroom door would not open all the way and the room smelled like smoke. The carpet was filthy and we could not walk on it without shoes on. Since it was graduation weekend, there were not any other hotels to stay in. We had to go to Wal-Mart and buy sleeping bags to put over the bed, towels (since there were none), wash clothes, anti bacterial wipes and lysol. Management was advised of the problems and did notfix them until we went back that evening and asked again for a clean room (we gave them the whole day to clean the room) It still did not even to meet minimal standards.

This hotel was great...the rates are really cheap, and the rooms were cleaner than expected. This hotel is definetly the best bang for your buck.

“The worst motel I've ever stayed in.”

The other review did not go far enough in how bad this motel actually is. My room had 30-40 cigarette burn holes in the comforter, blue bathroom tile that was green due to yellow stains on it and lots of mildew around the caulking. A door that barely locked and could easily been opened from the outside w/ a screwdriver, bugs, dirty sink, electrical wires that were spliced together, a fire alarm w/o a cover, 2 holes in the bathroom door that had been patched with drywall mud (the door was pink, so it showed), a wobbly table, flattest pillows I've ever seen, a missing clothing rack, the TV remote had no batteries or battery cover, etc. I have the pictures to prove it too. Why did I stay here anyway? It was a football weekend and every other hotel for 20 miles was booked. I'll never stay here again, though.
