This motel is close to the Gunters Annex and a bunch of AL State office buildings on Coliseum Blvd. It seems like a no frills place, on the fringe of Montgomery. While I was there, the motel was really clean, had old 1990s style furniture in the rooms, but the bedding seemed to be updated. There is free wifi in the room. There is a computer in the lobby. The bathroom seemed to have plenty of hot water on demand. There was an inroom coffee maker with coffee and tea available. For breakfast, I thought it was pretty good for a no frills motel, there were cereals, breads, milk, juice, apples, bananas, waffles, and a hot entree. When I was there, the hot entree was a pre-fab cheese omelet and hash browns with toast and grape jelly available. There were USA Today newpapers available everyday. There were not very many people in staying in the motel when I was there, so it was very quite. I did hear a semi-truck idling outside of my window one night, but I bring ear plugs. The door to my room was fairly ill-fitted, so there was a little hallway noise. Outside of the building is a McDonalds and a gas station with a convenience store. The front desk staff were professional. I did walk down the driveway after dark, but early evening to to the gas station convenience store for a snack, and I did not feel 100% safe doing that. But, once I returned to the inside of the motel, I felt safe.
