When I was ready to check out, I was told the computers were down and they would check me out officially when they came back up. I called three times asking for a copy of the bill and it never came. A few days later after reviewing my credit card statement, I realized why. They had charged me for an extra day's stay. My hotel stay was almost two weeks ago and I still haven't gotten a refund. The reservations manager is always on a conference call so she can't take my call and she never calls me back.

And the continental breakfast was very limited. Unlike most hotels I've stayed at, there wasn't much variety - no fruit, no pastries, etc.

Good location, great atrium hotel. Looks like hotel just had a renovation done. Clean spacies room and price is right too.

The hotel is not where you wan't to stay. If it were FREE I would not stay again.
We checked out and found another hotel for the night.

This hotel was disgusting. From dead roaches in the room to trash and dirty diapers in the hallway. The place had a mildew smell to it and was very disturbing. I arranged for my parents to stay there during my Air Force Officer Training School (OTS) graduation week. Big mistake! I was so busy with OTS activities that I failed to do thorough research on this awful establishment. Upon checking in with my parents, the front desk had no record of our travelocity reservation until the front desk called travelocity and finally gave us a room. I left a credit card for incidentals. We took the old creaky elevator up a floor to walk through a long smelly hallway. There were trash bags filled with trash and there were also dirty diapers in front of another room door. (that explained the smell). Upon entering the room the first thing I noticed was the missing mini refrigerator - clearly removed. Whoever removed it didn't clean underneath. So there was a pile of dirt and sticky smut on the ground area where the fridge used to sit. THEN we saw a dead roach in the same area. My dad spotted a second dead roach near the lamp. My parents were so patient and were willing to stay but I refused to allow my parents to stay in such a dump! I was so upset, especially since they flew in all the way from California. Needless to say we called travelocity and they immediately refunded our prepaid reservation. I went to the front desk and informed them of what we saw and said we would not be staying. Travelocity called the front desk to confirm verify the unsatisfactory conditions. The front desk girl seemed understanding and closed us out with 0 dollars due. Turns out that The Madison charged my credit card (that I originally gave for incidentals!) for a whole nights stay. Now 2 months later we are still fighting to get the charge removed. Not only is this place disgusting but it's a rip off. Very sad.
