“Don't stay here”
1 of 5 stars Reviewed 4 December 2010

The Good: The room was clean and well designed. The Bad: Constant problems with noise, (thin walls) issues with parking, and a complete lack of concern for the customer. I have never seen a management staff who was so disconnected and cared less. There were multiple issues with our stay and nothing was done to address the issue. Please make other lodging choices when in the area.

“Okay, but not great!”
3 of 5 stars Reviewed 23 March 2010

We stayed here because we had internet connection problems at the previous hotel that we were staying at. We found it whilst in town, after looking at so many others, it looked to be the best one out of all of them.

The price is a bit steep for what you actually get. The rooms are reasonably clean, but could do with a little extra work. They look like theyre in need of a bit of a refurb! The bed was small but very comfy. The kichenette was well equipped. The best thing about the room was the desk. The lightening in that area was great, and the desk chair was very executive. The rooms could be a little bit bigger though.

This hotel is okay if youre staying there for a night or 2, but any longer, I wouldnt do it! I guess if youre having an extended stay, and NEED a suite with a kitchen, then this would be great for you, but if a kitchen is not a necessity, then there are better hotels in the hotel for a more economical price!

Would I stay there again??? Unlikely! Would I recommend it??? If you NEED a kitchen, then yes, if not, forget about it and find someone else!

“It was ... okay”
2 of 5 stars Reviewed 24 October 2009

I booked this because I'm a Marriott Rewards member and they were offering a ticket package to two local attractions if you booked a two bedroom suite. Hotel was a bit hard to find due to poor roadway signage in the area and both GPS units (CrackBerry and TOMTOM) gave us bad (like two exits up) intel. The location, once you find it, is a mostly commercial area with lots of dining and mid-level big box shopping nearby. This was the only positive for us. First, the front desk had no idea about any ticket packages and we were told we'd have to wait for a manager the next morning to reconcile this. Turns outs, no one ever books the packages -- I'll explain some possible reasons for this later -- and they did not have them onsite. Manager was very kind and offered to drive into Montgomery, purchase the tickets, and bring them back but I suggested she just take the difference off the room which she did without a problem. The room itself appeared to be only marginally clean. The property is an older one with a facelift, so its hard to tell dirt from wear and shoddy repairs. I am not a fan of this situation and think hotels should do everything possible to make rooms at least APPEAR to be clean. Oddly colored grout, painted over stains, and stained/chipped furniture are negatives for me. The tub apparently used to have some of those no skid pads that left stains...stains on porcelain..whatever. As this property is an extended stay option, there were also a plethora of cooking smells and questionable looking characters in the parking lot. The walls are also very thin and I now know that the couple next door has relationship problems. Not because they were yelling, but rather having a slightly angry discussion. We had originally planned to add a night but went elsewhere. Despite all of this its not a bad location and the right room would probably make this an okay stay for a male patron seeking a long-term accommodations.

“Comfortable stay and very pleased!!!”

I stayed here on 6/29/09 in a studio suite with 2 other adults for one night on our way to Florida. It was extremely clean and had a homey feel - it had a small full kitchen, king bed and pull-out sofa. The room also had a HUGE closet, and a nicely appointed bathroom. This type of hotel caters to a business/longer term stay, but it was great for one night. The grounds were also very nice, and the hotel was located in a safe and convenient area (near lots of other hotels, restaurants, gas stations/stores). The staff there was also extremely pleasant, friendly, and helpful. The only negative thing I noticed at all was that the small outdoor pool had a greenish hue to it, but I didn't have time to use it anyway! The entire hotel is also non-smoking, so there's no fear of getting stuck in a stinky room.

“Good value for 2 bed rooms. Few problems still a good deal.”
4 of 5 stars Reviewed 1 April 2006

Great value for two bed room suite. With a good kitchen that made a family with teenagers comfortable. Good WIFI connection but no lobby computer or printer. No free breakfast, but many restaurants and a grocery store not very far away. Comes with apartment stove, fridge, microwave, coffee maker and toaster. Sorry ice maker did not work and the oven could use a pans. . You could hang out for weeks and not get cabin fever. Very close to exit I-85. so be sure to get the middle left lane on Carmichael Rd. if you want to get on the interstate. Again great value.
