I was hesitant to stay at this hotel due to poor reviews but pleasantly pleased with my choice. The hotel is being remodeled and apparently the rooms have been painted and wall paper removed since I didn't see any.

The staff was very friendly and helpful. I was here for a wedding and unfamiliar with the area. The lady at the desk offered to print off a map from the hotel to the church. The rooms were nice and clean and the rate was reasonable. I will definately recommend this hotel to others and stay here again upon my future trips.

My husband, my mother, and I stayed at this hotel for one night on November 6, 2010, and we were totally impressed. My mother is in a wheelchair, therefore, we stayed in a handicapped accessible room, which had a wide bathroom door, and handrails near the commode. There was even a seat inside the bathtub, as well as a hand held shower which came in handy. The free Continental breakfast was much nicer than I had anticipated, and it was very delicious. We plan to stay here again, whenever we are in the Montgomery, AL area. The hotel is located right near the Interstate, and is surrounded by a host of very nice restaurants, and it is located in a nice area. We totally Loved this hotel and we enjoyed our stay.

We came to town for a funeral and stayed in this hotel at hoping the the reviewers were just being harsh. The reviews are absolutely correct - this hotel is terrible. I had to change rooms as soon as I arrived becuase the shower curtain was falling down and the the border around the wall was coming down...not to mention the musty smell in the room! The 2nd room was no better as the paint was peeling off of the wall and a huge hairball was in the corner of the bathroom. I was so tempted to leave, but part of my family was also there, so I decided to stick it out. The gym equipment was old and broken. In short...stay away from this hotel. There are brand new hotels on Chantilly and much cleaner! Hope this helps someone else.- these reviews are not being overly harsh.

The 2 nights we stayed at this hotel were simply awful. Upon opening the dresser drawer we found a large pool of liquid that had been there for some time, and was growing mold. When we reported this to the front desk, they said they would send someone up. No apology was offered. No one showed up to fix it after an entire day, and we informed the staff we were placing the drawer in the hallway. In the morning, we found the SAME dirty drawer outside of our door, and it had only been wiped out. I would never stay at this hotel again. Not only was it filthy, but it was poorly run, and the staff had no sense of customer service.
