I stayed at this hotel for two nights in January 2006. I was traveling for work and it was one of the only hotels in Montgomery that had availability (at the government rate). I will never return. The room was of average appearance/cleanliness, but the walls were paper thin. I could hear every movement of my neighbors. At one point I could actually hear one person next door unwrapping a plastic wrapper of some sort - that's how little soundproofing there was! The front desk employee was also very unpleasant and was usually loitering outside the front door smoking. I would not recommend this hotel to anyone - there are much better hotels in Montgomery (the new Drury Inn nearby is my favorite).

Nice hotel. We got there late at night and they lock up the lobby and you must use your card key to get in - I liked the extra security. Room was large and clean and beds were comfortable. Free microwave and refrigerator. Rates seemed reasonable.

The only problem I noticed was that their breakfast area was very small and was often crowded.

Stayed 3 nights ....slept well...clean,comfortable. We had been promised a rate at another hotel chain nearby,when we got there they tried to up the price. We opted for Comfort Inn and they gave us AAA discount. Great staff and highly recommend this hotel for those worried about getting a dud.Also,it's away from the main strip and the pan-handlers.

We stopped here en route from New Orleans to Atlanta and one night was enough. The staff were very friendly, the room was enormous and equipped with everything you would expect and the rate ($64.79) was good. The location is fine for access to the usual chain restaurants, but we opted to dine at Ming's Chinese restaurant nearby which I would highly recommend. The main thing letting the room down was its cleanliness. The bathroom was clean enough, but staff obviously vacuum around things rather than move them and therefore the carpet round the bedside furniture and bed had layers of dust on it... I even found an old false nail by the bed on the floor.
