Ended up here last minute because of a cancelled flight. This was a really nice place. The staff were very friendly. The room was clean and spacious. The continental breakfast had lots of options and was very good. I had no problems with the connection speed of the Internet.

The only reason I gave it 4 stars instead of 5 is because my room was right above the pool and was very humid. Even with the AC running, it just made the air feel cold and wet. I think if I had been in a room not directly above the pool I would not have had this problem. If I end up in Montgomery again, I would stay here, but request a room farther from the pool.

My room was comfortable, and I slept very well during my stay. I had no issues with safety and never felt uneasy.

There were a couple of issues during my stay, and they were addressed immediately by management. The mini-fridge in my room had frozen up so it wasn't very cold. They swapped it for one that was working within 30 minutes of my call. There were also a lot of teenage girl softball teams staying there. Well, you know how teen girls are - giggle machines running up and down the halls. Personally I have 4 daughters, and it's perfectly okay that they are silly and having a good time, but please just not after 10pm. One call to the front desk, the manager said she would take care of it immediately, and she did. Peace at last.

We stayed here with our family and our car (along with another) was broken into into the middle of the night, passenger window smashed in, car ransacked, obviously looking for valuables which might have been left in car (GPS, cash, phones, etc). According to the police, this is a regular occurence at this hotel, and in fact had happened the previous night, although the mgmt took no steps to warn or inform their guests. Management is aware of the breakins but have taken no precautions (as some of the other hotels have) to protect their guests such as added night security, security cameras, additional lighting, or even erecting a better fence which the crooks jump over to gain access. Blatant disregard for guest safety.

I stayed here with my children because it was a hotel recommened by the prestigious tennis tournament we had traveled to Montgomery to play in. On the first night my vehicle, along with another one, were broken into. The passenger side window was bashed out of my car and the glove compartment and console were ransacked and some personal belongings were stolen. The very next night, two other vehicles were broken into the exact same way. The Montgomery police indicated to us this happens all the time at this hotel. There is a fence along the back of the hotel that separates it from I-85. The thieves jump over the fence, pick a couple of SUVs parked at the end of the hotel and smash and dash with whatever they can steal and carry. The hotel management, although apologetic to me, seemed that this was standard routine and that they would file their standard report to their ownership. Installing more lighting and security cameras would definitely help the situation, but they apparently have no plans of investing in the safety and security of their patrons.
