This hotel is a great value if you eat their wonderful hot breakfast and their 5:30 kick off dinner buffet. I had stayed at a Drury before and so knew about the dinner but could not find ending times on the website. It ended at 7:00 and, unfortunately, we just missed it. They do have complimentary popcorn all the time though. Reception was very friendly. There is a security gate in the parking lot but I did not see if was being used. The room had a big recliner and a floor table lamp which was a comfortable arrangement. We used a coupon that we got from the coupon books at the state line to save a few dollars on the room.

My daughter and I shared a two bedded room with my minature poodle. The room was very comfortable. Had more light than the usual hotel room. Great for putting on makeup as long as you take your own mirror so you don't have to lean over the desk or bathroom vanity to get to those mirrors. My daughter enjoyed the gym for her morning workouts. That way she could do her three mile run on their treadmill instead of braving the busy roadside. We also appreciated the hot breakfast and evening happy hour. Don't buy soft drinks from the vending machines as there is a free soda fountain in the lobby along with a popcorn machine. Great for late night snacks. Staff was very welcoming and helpful. Only negative is the location. It is conveniently at the corner of Airport Blvd and I-65, which is great, but Mobile has this insane traffic system that requires one to drive about 1 mile west on the access road before you can turn onto Airport Blvd. And the access road is rife with no right turn intersections, yield signs, stop signs, cars careening in from Airport and cars crossing from the left. Despite the little traffic hiccup I will stay at the Drury from now on when in Mobile.

Spent one night here and I wish I could have stayed an extra night. The staff was wonderful. The room was very good. The 5:30 Kick off was wonderful. Would stay here again.

the hotel was a little hard to get to if youre coming in at night.we had to make loop around freeway (be careful you might get lost if not good on N S E W) before we found right entryway to service road...once we checked in the appearance of " I need an update" was pretty obvious...the elevator looked as if they purchased it at an auction from a previous going out of business outdated hotel...i prayed that it wouldnt get stuck between floors...the inside rooms were nice..not too musty smelling...warning for those like myself who weigh more than a slice of bread...if you are in bed with someone else be prepared to fight for your right to have adequate amount of covers as the top blanket is just big enuff for one per bed...now on to breakfast...this was my first drury experience and i must say with the onslought of food on the commercials you might not want to run too fast to breakfast area...if it had been ten people at one time in small area you would have felt the walls closing in and by the time you had all gotten food the next set of ten would have to wait for the refill team to prepare more to eat...i didnt make for evening meal selection but i can only imagine...i can say the staff at the time was very friendly,helpful,and patient as i did have to go to front desk more than a few times for different request...overall if you are accustomed to a pricey hotel then dont expect toooooo much but if you need a decent stay for the night and go in not expecting too much then after getting lost on crazy service roads stop here....
