“Unsafe, noisy, old, mildewed facility”

I am staying in this hotel as we speak. This is my first night here. I begin school tomorrow here in Mobile, so I booked a room for the week. I am checking out first thing in the morning because I am scared to death to stay here any longer.

As soon as I found my room I saw a cop circling the place. He stopped beside my room and served a warrant to someone in the room next to me. I am a single woman staying by myself so needless to say it made me very uncomfortable. I had to move my car to the other side of the building since my room was located closest to the busy street. When I did this I noticed several men watching me. I immediately locked my door and I am too scared to leave until the morning.

The placed smells like mildew and the shower is black on the bottom. There are stains all over the chair in the corner and the curtain also. I refuse to take off my shoes. I have washed my hands 3 times because everything is sticky......doorknobs, light switches and TV remote. I cannot wait to get out of here. I sincerely hope the front desk doesn't hassel me about checking out early. Please do not stay here. This place is unsafe both inside and out.

“A new problem every day”

I moved to Mobile for a promotion, and stayed in this hotel for a month while looking for a permanant residence. When I checked in, they took my credit card for incidentals, as my room was paid for by my company. Later that night, a message appeared in my voice mail. It seems they charged my card for someone else's room! A $550 charge! The refund was processed immediatly, but as this was the Friday before Memorial day, and it takes several business days to process the return, I was out the money for a week! I understand that mistakes happen, but the management was given the opportunity to make it up to me... buy me a pizza, apologize, something! I had to call my new boss at home and ask him for cash, and I hadn't met him yet!
Two days later, I returned from a day at work to find my toilet clogged with a bloody tampon. I went to the front deslk to report the problem, and they handed me a plunger! When I returned it, they told me I should ask my "female guests" to be more careful. I hadn't had one! It must have been their cleaning staff.

I was placed in the room closest to the highway, with mildew on the shower walls due to the nonworking bathroom fan. There's a police car that hovers around the building, which lends an uncomfortable air to the place. The power turns off at random, resetting your alarm clock. I spent a day off holding a pillow over my head as the fire alarm kept going off... Seriously, during my "Extended Stay" I ran across a new disaster every day. You're better off staying in a tent!

i did note my first nite that that a police car was sitting outside the property but did not think musch of it, r and my 2nd night there when i returned to my room, it was apparent that
someone broke into my room while i was out...my personal property was scattered , and i did not bring anything of value with me ,and it was obvious that whoever came into the room was looking for something i did not have on me .. there is" NO no 24 hour desk personnel" on duty, which should have been a red flag for me but i was exhausted from my trip...after this i was so terrified that i had to ask my sister to come get me at 2 am,in the morning...
i was afraid to sleep there!
i called after 8am the next morning and reported this and all the lady at the front desk said WAS MRS-... DO YOU WANT A REFUND? WOULD YOU LIKE TO LEAVE? ...it was like she expected this call from me..
