The first impression was great with an updated lobby, but things went poorly from there.
The room's carpet seemed stained and the room was sizable but seemed dated. Later we were told the entire floor had flooded during the Summer- so that might have been the staining of the carpet.
We went upstairs to the "best view in Mobile" to find a 70s style bar with too loud music. It might have been a great view, but I doubt the windows were washed in a year.
It was New Years so we were out late- but there was no late checkout and the 11:00 deadline was not negotiable.
This hotel charges to park- yet another way to increase the net profit for the property. Pass this hotel by- there are too many other places to stay in the area.
