This hotel, located in a "suspicious" neighborhood but still surrounded by other hotels, was a disappointment. When we got off the highway and saw the neighborhood it wasn't good. Then, we checked in and went into our room. The plumbing promptly broke and we were moved into another room. There was mold in the bathroom (uh-oh) and the walls were stained (ouch). Keep your shoes on because the floor has an (unnoticeable) layer of dust. If you walk barefooted or with socks, the bottom of your feet/socks will turn gray.

The first (and only) night was not a total disaster. Purchase bottled water from nearby since I had my doubts about the water quality from the sink. The walls were paper thin.

The breakfast center/"business center" (a computer on a cluttered desk)/front desk was a lengthy walk from our room. The breakfast was surprisingly good.

Overall, I would not recommend this hotel to anyone.

Stayed here on a Sunday while traveling through headed West on IH-10, and wanted to be clear of any Mobile rush-hour traffic come Monday morning.

This hotel is adequate for your basic overnight needs, though I did hear a few of the 18 wheeler trucks next door from time to time.

My room was nothing special and the TV had especially poor reception, but was clean enough. The A/C took longer than normal to cool the room down from the summer heat.

The Continental breakfast was nothing special, mostly the usual cereals, fruit, coffee, juice, etc.

The computer at the "business center" was unusually slow and patience is required.

Service at front desk was adequate though there frequent occasions of personal friends of the desk staff hanging around.

Overall not bad really, but not particularly good either.

I would not of stayed here voluntarily, However when I bid through Priceline This is who accepted my offer of $50. The rooms were were clean and the bed was comfortable.However, I felt that the pool was old and the upkeep for the pool needed to be maintain and it was not.. There seem to be alot construction workers who stayed here making me feel alittle unsafe... and felt that I couldnt even allow my 16 yr old to stand out side and speak on the phone outside the door without me being out there with her.Therefore, I had her come inside.
If you arent worried about having to use a pool and just need a good bed for the night i would stay here again.

When I saw the sign saying $55 a night, I thought "UhOh!" but my husband went ahead and booked a room. I was so suprised! It was large, clean, very comfy bed, no noise from the nearby interstate. It was easy to get to and there are restaurants nearby. Excellent for our overnight stay passing through.
