“Worse hotel in the world!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!”
1 of 5 stars Reviewed 14 February 2012

I agree with all the reviews on this hotel. We stayed at this hotel, back in 2010, first room they put us in the room smell awful and the bed was broke. We were 3 doors down from the office. It was loud and music playing with words I wouldn't repeat. two doors down from us were a a group of hoodlums, that look like drug dealers. The smell from that room was awful you could smell it all over the parking lot. We had two small childrend with us which made things worse. We went to office and asked to be moved to another room. The lady at the desk was nice and did have move back side of the property on and upper floor. In this room the heater was not working and it was hanging off the wall. We called the front desk and asked for them to come look at it, by this time it was 11:00 pm the two kids were tired and ready to go to sleep. A men named Julio came up and looked at it and accussed me and my daughter of breaking the heater. In front of the children. He informed me that after that night we were not welcome at that hotel. I called the hotel headquaters and told them what happened, they really did not seem to care. When we checked the next morning. I told them that I am not going to pay for this. They did refund my credit card. The lady at the desk was nice about it. I would not ever stay at this hotel, you are not safe.

“Nasty, Nasty, Nasty”
1 of 5 stars Reviewed 26 December 2011

My parents, daughter, husband and i stayed here on our way to the beach and it will definitely be the last time. We had two rooms and they were both disgusting. I did not expect luxury but I did expect clean. We were afraid to take our shoes off in either of the rooms. Both of the rooms smelled of smoke, even though we asked for non-smoking. The floors were hit at with a vacuum cleaner. I say this because of the wrappers, cigarette butts, etc. that were on the floor along the walls and around the furniture. Sleeping was not good due to the overall feeling of grossness.

“Melvin was GREAT!”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed 5 September 2011

We stayed at the Red Roof Inn North in Mobile Alabama on the first night of a long cross-country move from central Florida to Las Vegas, NV. We had a moving truck, packed, and were pulling a van behind it. The rental company in Florida did NOT properly secure the van's front tires with the straps . . . and the first day of the trip was in driving rain. On Tuesday morning, June 28, 2011, the maintenance man at this motel named Melvin, whose job is to maintain the property, came over to me in the parking lot and asked if he could help. He helped me secure the vehicle properly. He even used his own tools, laid on his back on the pavement and worked up a good sweat and some dirty hands. It gave me much more peace of mind for the rest of a very long, hot journey, much of which was in the mountains in the west. Melvin deserves to be commended for going above and beyond the call of duty, not to mention his job description! I tried to pay him something, but he refused, until I absolutely insisted that he take a few dollars at least for a tip.

Room Tip: The motel was fine, but it's Melvin I want to applaud here.

“Great!”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed 25 August 2011

Red Roof Inn's are the BEST. We stayed at this Red Roof Inn (and the one in Westchase Houston, Tx). Didn't realize what I'd been missing. I'd stayed at Red Roof Inn's earlier in my travels but had strayed away. But from now on, it will be Red Roof Inn's for me. Thank you Red Roof Inn!

“AVOID THIS HOTEL, DIRTY, FILTHY, NASTY”
1 of 5 stars Reviewed 6 July 2011

Sheets with yellow spots and bad smell. Horrible smoke smell (we ask for smoke free room). Shower curtains with black mold all around, bath tub with drainage problems. We complaint about the room and we only got clean sheets, no housekeeping or changing room. No a place for families. I wonder if the "PET FRIENDLY" means rooms only for animals.
