Red Roof Inn's are the BEST. We stayed at this Red Roof Inn (and the one in Westchase Houston, Tx). Didn't realize what I'd been missing. I'd stayed at Red Roof Inn's earlier in my travels but had strayed away. But from now on, it will be Red Roof Inn's for me. Thank you Red Roof Inn!

Sheets with yellow spots and bad smell. Horrible smoke smell (we ask for smoke free room). Shower curtains with black mold all around, bath tub with drainage problems. We complaint about the room and we only got clean sheets, no housekeeping or changing room. No a place for families. I wonder if the "PET FRIENDLY" means rooms only for animals.

Day 1 of a holiday trip from Florida to Texas. Ended up in Mobile and armed with a Visitor Center discount coupon. Even though we arrived just after dark, the lobby was closed and I had to use the "security window." The clerk was somewhat disinterested but accepted the coupon. Specific comments.

Room. Standard Red Roof Inn. Despite the outside wear and tear appearance our room was newly painted and the bathroom refurbished. The room and linens were clean and the beds comfy. As we were in the back of the building room noise was minimal. Wireless internet did not work as advertised but we were too tired to make an issue of it. Tech support would be of little help when the signal is weak anyways. Microwave and mini-fridge were available.

Since we arrived after dark and left before sunrise, I cannot comment on other hotel amenities. Check out was efficient and we were on our way. There is no breakfast here. But there was an urn of coffee with the ubiquitous shakers of powered creamer and sugar. I passed on that.

Overall, nothing more than a one night stay while traveling. Expectations were not high and the hotel did not disappoint. Use the coupon of you want to stay here and save yourself a few bucks.

I came for a specific concert in town and found it to be exactly what I wanted. It was a little busy which was to be expected on a weekend, but I was checked in in a timely manner. The room I booked was quite comfortable, clean and spacious. This is my second visit to this property and I will be back !
