This place was a complete dive. We booked on Hotwire and will never do that again. Carpets were greasy, blankets had cigarette holes, no counters to keep luggage off the gross carpet, walls had holes, bath was falling apart and gross. The front desk closes at 5:30 and they only have a ghetto-style teller window to access staff after that. Surrounded by nice, new chain hotels. Oh well.

Just found out that Mobile Alabama Family Inns is no longer owned by the Family Inns of America. We have 8 people total staying there on 12/11. The first room we were given smelled like cat pee and water mold type of smell. The bathroom tub had an inch thick putty in the bottom of it. The rug was not vaccuumed and I demanded a different room. The next room smelled better but had little to know toliet paper, dirty fingerprints on the door, and the floor corners were not cleaned. We also have been locked out of room after paying for 11 days because some form wasn't signed. We were told that they do not provide toliet paper or soap for long term stays. We travel for our job three times a week and have to stay 5-11 days in a motel at a time. This place is not something we will come back to and I strongly suggest passing by and paying the extra few dollars just for the peace of mind.

Mrs. Lynn was very nice and went out of her way to accomodate my needs. Very good price. Very clean rooms and nice, knowledgable staff. I stayed 6 days for a business trip and it was exceptional, especially when I stay at many hotels all over and I cannot say that about alot of them that I have stayed at. They gave me a room that had good internet connection which was a plus due to the business I was trying to take care of. I would recommend this hotel to anyone.

My husband and I came down to Mobile for our kids Spring Break to visit relatives. The front desk staff was very helpful and courteous. The hotel room itself was a bit dated but very clean and comfortable for the price we were given. The kids really enjoyed the pool and free wifi.
