We stayed here one night and that was one night too many. As we checked in the lady at the front desk asked us to use the stairs because the tile in front of the elevators was being replaced. No problem- we were only on the 2nd floor. As we got to our room the door was propped open with a chair and there was plastic sheeting in the floor. The carpet was wet, and the sinks ( both of them) were dirty with what looked like to be mud. Come to find out the man replacing the tile was using our room to get water to mix up the grout for the tile. I called the front desk and we were given the only other room which was a smoking room on the 3rd floor. During all of this the fire alarm went off no less than four times which was only annoying to me but it scared my son to death. He was crying and ready to go home. We left to go eat and try to get his mind off of the fire alarm but when we returned the elevator which they had told us to use at night was out of order so we had to use the stairs again. I guess the reason they wanted us to use the elevator at night was because the stairwell was very dark at night- not properly lit. My son didn't sleep much at all that night for fear the fire alarm would go off again so it made for a long night with little rest. The pool was murky at best and I couldn't testify to the breakfast because we didn't stick aroung long enough to check it out. Do not stay here. There are plenty of other hotels in the immediate area.
