Stayed in the resort last weekend. We have booked 2 rooms with connecting door. The chalets are located in Tanjung Kling which is 15-20 minutes drive from Melaka city. I think it is owned by an individual. Nothing special but cozy enough for me and my family. But for those who are really into comfort, don’t stay here. Positive parts: 1. I really like the design of the chalet. 2. The chalets look like mini traditional Malaysian houses. 3. u have direct access to the sea. However, swimming is at your own risk. When we were there, nobody was swimming but there were a few people fishing. 4. The scenery behind our room was so breathtaking as our chalets were facing the sea. 5. The price is very reasonable. 6. Staff was friendly and helpful. 7. Food was ok. 8. The furniture at the lobby was kinda cool. Negative parts: 1. I think it’s time for the management to do some refurbishment, (windows were broken, peeled of paints, rundown bathroom, torn runner etc). 2. During breakfast, the waiter/waitress did not bother to refill the buffet. 3. Very small rooms. 4. No kettle in the rooms but u can request at the reception. 5. Mosquitoes were everywhere but electronic mosquito repellent was provided. 6. Spots on one of the bed linens. 7. Not enough facilities but they have swimming pools (for kids & adults) and also a Jacuzzi. The jacuzzi is also not well maintained. I don’t mind staying here again, but I really feel that it’s time for refurbishment and the chalets would be far better than it is now.
