We were a big party of 14 spending a weekend at Cuba Goa in Palolem. I had higher expectations as the huts look pretty good online. They are even very cute from outside, but when you step in, they are gross. Especially the bathroom. Glad we only stayed there for a night. Very spartan looking. I guess you pay for the location and that was prime, right on the beach. You can hear the waves crashing from the room.

The food at the restaurant was decent. They have fresh seafood and all kinds of breakfast foods. I liked the banana & Nutella pancakes (crapes).

I prefer staying at more luxurious places and won't be returning to Cuba Goa Palolem. If you like low budget, backpacking type vacations, this place is perfect for you.

It was the best holiday ever. Nice place, friendly staff and excellent food.
We´ve been there 14 days and we will come back.....

Plus: good location, wide and clean beach front, plush appearance.

Minus: rooms are a bit hot in daytime due poor ventilation, costlier than most others( though is also better than most), sea-view rooms not sea-facing, poor service in the restaurant (delay upto 1 hour) (maybe Indians are not welcome, though it was not obvious).

General: overall good stay

This was ok ish, rooms were very basic, and I found the service and cleanliness to be some what lacking, apparently there were good yoga teachers and masseurs close by, but I never decided to stick around long enough to find out, prefering to head north to where I'd heard of a jewel waiting to be found.
