The service was pleasant. The room was comfortable and homely- though not too spacious. The location was the best part! This hotel was just a 2-3 minute walk from Calangute beach. The reception and staff at the restaurant were friendly and helpful. I would give this hotel a thumbs up for it's location and service. I would give it a thumbs down only for the fact that the room was small though it had a high ceiling. If you visit this hotel, be sure to check out the good restaurants nearby like Cricketer's Pub and Melting Pot!

This hotel was referred by my wife's colleague. It was described as a very basic though over the hill but sufficient hotel located very close to the Calangute beach. It turned out to be just that. We got a decent deal for a 8-night stay at this hotel during peak season-X-mas-New Year holidays.
To begin with the hotel has definitely seen better days. I was told that ownership of the hotel had recently changed hands and the new management were doing their best to restore it.
What we liked:
Value for money- flexibility of the management to give us a deal during peak season
Location-stone's throw away from the Calangute beach
Efficient management- hardworking Manager and team who were always responsive to our every problems
Very good breakfast
Air-conditioning- despite the ancient room the ac worked well

What we dis-liked
The small, shallow pool
Old, ancient rooms
Cited a few roaches in the loo

Go for it without a hesitation if you are travelling on a tight budget.

We had fair amount of expectation after taking a look at the resort.I had visited with my wife and my one year old.The staff is lethargic and hostile,the rooms are miniscule and so is the pool.My kid soiled the bed cover with tea to which we were given advice by the staff and the owner how not to raise a child!!We were willing to pay for the damages and that these people forced out anyway from us.Food from the restaurant is average but pricey.While checking out we were asked where the hotel towels were,humiliating us,since they had hastily searched without looking in the cupboards where they were.In fact we had refrained from using the towels since they were dirty.
Overall a very bad experience.Try Hotel Germany just opposite Bevvan which has a huge pool and friendly staff,or hotel Carys
