We headed Calangute second time with family. Since we had been here previously, we choose to stay only one night there. We booked the hotel on travel website and reached Vasco. We reached Calangute via Panaji by local bus. The buses here are smaller one with quite good frequency. The hotel is around 2 km before actual Calangute beach / last stop of the buses. We reached the hotel and checked in. We just rested for some time and got fresh. Toilet / bathroom was neat & clean. I liked it as it was having hot & cold water shower. Cold shower in hot summer in Goa was just too good. The room was clean and with some interesting facilities like shelves for storage, steel cupboard, arrangement for cloth drying, classic shirt hangers etc. The hotel is run by family which stays along with the hotel itself. We felt safe and comfortable there.
Later we went out for lunch. In Goa, it is paradise for Non veg eaters but for Veggie people it is difficult to find good pure veg hotel. Luckily we got one and took the lunch. The taste was good but it was overpriced. We went back the hotel and took some rest.
In evening we got tea from hotel & then went to the beach. There was beach around 10 min walk but the main beach is quite a distance away. We had some fun there and then walked down to the main beach. Later we took dinner and rested some time. At main beach you can get items like Pav bhaji, parathas etc. When we wanted to retun the hotel, the bus service was stopped (It ends around 8 pm only) For short distance of just 2 km we had to take taxi which charged us 100 rupees. We relaxed in the hotel. The sleep was comfortable. In the morning, me & my kid went upstairs to watch the trees. The hotel has nice mix of colors. Various color tile pieces are fixed in reception. Lot of plants & trees are there for nice shadow and breeze. In night they lightened LED light malas which were attractive. We headed to next destination. It was comfortable nice stay.

We had visited Gabriels in the month of may, this guest house is really worth for the money.. it is very close to the calangute beach,just at the distance of 250 meters..its a peacefull place with lots of greenary around. Rooms are very good,standard a/c room but it was clean and neat, staff was friendly they helped us in arranging bikes,taxi and local tours.. which made our holidays more comfortable and time saving.. they give the same treatment to everyone. we will visit there again next year..

we stayed there for six nights,the stay was wonderfull as it is located is very close to calangute beach just around 3 minutes walk. rooms are clean and comfortable.family is friendly and host was very good and helped us in seight-seeing.we missed some of the tourist activies as it was offseason. all the rooms were full even in offseason that surprised us but we were happy as our travel agent had arranged this guest house(mini hotel) .we will visit this place next time. in goa, calanngute is only happenning place in goa in offseason.i am grading this guest house excellent as the price is very reasonable,friendly staff and great location. thank you

hi, just back fom gabrials again,,wos there in feb as well as april.......still a nice clean goan guest house,,,,,,guest house ,,,,and a nice one near the beach food good,,,, the bad revies given by indian guests,,are not true,,thay want every thing for nothing,,cheap,cheap,cheap,,,,five star,service,,,at guest hous prices,,,,the place is good for the price ,run by a very trusting nice give it a try,,,
