We visited North Goa this last December (2011). Resort De Coracao is ideally located....just a kilometer from Calangute Beach and a couple of miles from Baga.

Great hotel....very nice n clean rooms, excellent bathrooms with awesome "downpour" showers. Friendly staff....good in house Resturant and even the Paradise Spa is great.
Will definitely recommend to anyone visiting north Goa to stay here. It's great value for money.

Having stayed at the hotel last year and enjoyed our stay we decided to spend another xmas and new year here,as usual the staff were helpfull and polite.The deluxe room was always very clean and tidy,the food and service was good to.Just one problem was the entrance up to the hotel,my wife who as difficulty walking struggled to get up the slope.(could do with steps and a hand rail being installed).

it may be that this resort prefers either business or domestic customers, but as international travellers, we found the service from the desk both unfriendly and unhelpful. the rooms and facilities are new, clean and the food at the buffet quite good. however, due to the attitude of the reception staff, and as the reception is close to the recreation/pool area, the resort lacks any holiday character, and feels more like an office block. however it is close to some very nice local eateries with great food and helpful staff.

I went to Goa in September with 7 friends. we have booked 4 rooms in this resort. Since we all were traveling from different cities our arrival time in Goa was different. It was me who reached Goa first, it took me around 30 min to reach this resort from Panjim bus stand. Location of this hotel is very good , it is situated on the Candolim main road, next to some famous church.

After getting the room keys from the hotel staff who were very kind and polite, I went to my room. The room was very spacious and clean, its no less than a 4 star hotel room with good ambiance and clean bathroom.

Two things which I liked the most about this resort were swimming pool and the breakfast buffet. Swimming pool was clean and good for average swimmers like me. Breakfast buffet was lavish, it included everything like north Indian dishes, south Indian dishes, English break fast juices, tea coffee, butter milk and lot more. I have never seen such type of complimentary breakfast and in any of my previous resorts.

Overall I rate this as a nice place to stay in Goa. The only drawback is that it is little far from the most happening place in Goa "The Baga beach". But if you are not a late night party freak then this is a good option for you.

Good : Service, staff, breakfast buffet, swimming pool, neatness.

Bad : Little far from beaches(Calangute and Baga) and the main city.
