An amazing experience. Great place to stay, good food and above all extremely good staffs. The property is very close to the Candolim and Calangute beaches, with a shopping mall, bars and other stores imminent, The hotel ambience was great with a mini pool on the terrace, although the pool is a bit small, but we had a fun time in it. The hotel has a talented team of staffs, I must appreciate the hospitality of Mr Subhankar Majumdar, the manager and Mr Victory Srivastava. Next time whenever I am in Goa, my address should definitely read
"10 Calangute".

Went to Goa for the first time.. It was an unforgettable stay.. I am writing this pretty late as I travelled long back.. The Hotel rocks... Complete privacy.. U wont be disturbed till u want to be.. Some people may not believe,but the best part of the room was the bathroom.. It was royal... The room we got had the biggest I believe... 5 mins from the beach... Paresh is extremely helpful, he took care of everything.. The staff is the bast you can have.. and then, there was Danny to steal the show.. He served the most awesome food in the world.. talk starters, main course, desserts (they were made in heaven).. The only downer was the pool. too shallow n too small.. Otherwise this is as close as you can get to PERFECTION..

We stayed at 10 Calangute in December for 3 nights on our trip to Goa. We wanted a nice lil break from our busy India trip and were very pleased we chose 10 Calangute for our stay. Its a nice boutique hotel located at about 6-7 minutes of a walk from Calangute Beach. Its perfectly located, is extremely clean and well maintained by the staff. The rooms are very spacious and are well equipped with necessities. Everyone at the hotel is very helpful and courteous. We had a great time. Would highly recommend this hotel if you are looking for the perfect combination of fun at the beach and a nice relaxed hotel stay. We had room service breakfast and it was amazing. The Masala tea is awesome :) Two thumbs up !

I paid about 4800 per night (inclusive of breakfast and taxes).

Some of the things i didnt like about this place
1. For a hotel that has "Calangute" in its name, the hotel is not as close as one would have liked, to Calangute beach. Also, the hotel is located at the back of a mall. So there is really very little charm to it as you enter.
2. The room is a bit like an attic. It has a slanted roof - which means that while the room is large, you cant use about 50 sq. feet of it - unless you sit cross legged on the floor in that half.
3. The room i was in (named Arpora) has a bathtub in the bathroom - but a glass pane that opens out into the room instead of the wall. They have a blind that one can pull down for privacy, but the blind is quite see-through. I was with my wife, so we didnt mind it much - but it creates a hassle if you have called for room service and one of you in in the bathroom.
4. The swimming pool is a tiny lil splash pool - so we didnt bother at all.
5. Breakfast - which is to start at 8:00 a.m. as per their rules, never starts before 8:45 or so. So if you're an early riser - you don't get your first cuppa joe before 8:45. And i had to remind them twice about the coffee on both days!
6. They have one of those large tower/standing air-conditioners - If you set it at a certain temperature - it will nonetheless do its own thing at night. I woke up sweating every night.

This being said - the positives
1. The service was excellent! (apart from the delayed coffee) The staff was helpful & polite. there is a guy called "Victory" who was awesome during our stay.
2. The security guy has the numbers of Cabbies, Scooter rental guys, etc. I'm sure he gets a cut - but the scooter cost me only rs. 250/day - so this was quite good! I just went down, asked him about scooters and a guy came over with a scooter within 10 minutes.
3. The breakfast was really good. We didnt eat any other meal there.
4. They have a foosball table in the lounge area!

So all in all, this place was decent - but for the amount we paid (never paid so much for acco in Goa), this was a let down. Definitely not VFM
