Booked this place well in advance seeing the pics on net and reviews. This place is simply awesome. The rooms are nice and spacious. Staff is very polite and service is good.The place is quite and calm and well use of lighting makes it even more beautiful.Breakfast is complimentary and has wide range of items from Indian to western food. It has paid taxi service for station drop and sight seeing which is cheaper than the pre-paid govt. authorised rates.The resort not near to beach but you will not repent staying here. To summarize a nice place to relax and have fun.

i stayed in the hotel in october month.. n seriously telling u, hotel was awesome.. everything was perfect.. i dont knw why this is 3 star, it should get 5 star ratings..

We stayed at Angel Resort for 2 nights during 12th and 13th January 2012, which considered off-season. The off-season rate we paid was Rs 2250 per night. Really high considering that the rooms and facilities were very basic. During the first shower I noticed that the drain was completely blocked! Hot water for shower is shared between 3 rooms, so, if all the guests decide shower at a time, then there was hardly any hot water coming into our shower. House keeping staff came to clean our room at 3:30pm just when we had returned from lunch and were ready for a quiet/short nap in our room! Breakfast is very basic in the range and quality as well as quite unhealthy – Deep fried Indian Bread (Pooris) and deep fried Potato Dumplings (Batata Vada) – first thing in the morning does not qualify for healthy and sumptuous breakfast! Overall experience was very disappointing.

To summarise, its simply AWESOME. As soon as we reached, we got our allocated room without any delay. The reception staff politely explained us the inclusions & facilities available in the hotel. We were happy to know that we could use the games room, gym & swimming pool for free. Gave us the breakfast coupons & we headed to the room. The Standard room was more spacious and with better amenities than we expected. It had a living area, a bedroom with bath attached. It was more than enough for our requirements. At this price, I don't think I will get a better hotel anywhere in Goa. It was located at an almost equal distance from Calangute & Panjim. Reception staff guided us on the route to several tourist spots & good restaurants. Breakfast was nice, house-keeping was done promptly. Bathroom was neat & clean. We didn't have to ask/demand/complain for any single thing. Overall, we were more than satisfied & would give it a 5/5 rating without hesitation. Its a definite must-visit for people with limited budget. We would definitely come back.
