“Awesome experience”

We stayed at Villa anjuna for 7 nights. Needless to say it is pure value for money. Specially the Cafe Pluto which is open 24X7 is awesome. Just imagine, even if you suppose come back to the hotel from Arambol at 4 am at night, and you feel to have few more drinks and (a wide variety of)sandwiches or omllette or maggi or sausages or maggi or juice ... you will get it at Cafe Pluto. There are two cooks in the night shift. Both are awesome in terms of their cooking skills as well behavior with customer. In the morning breakfast i will advice you to try the Special breakfast which costs you 150 bucks. But it is awesome. You can laze around at the swimming pool and enjoy your food and drinks. The only drawback is there is no room service. If you need to have a tea in the morning inside your room then you will have to go to the cafe and bring it from there. There is cyber cafe in the lobby. The hotel is just 2 minutes walk from the beach. Rooms are very basic but thats completely ok. Environment is soothing. We opted for Non-AC room and hardly had to switch on the fan (it was January). Bikes are available on rent from guys standing in front of the hotel. But don't take it from them. Specially from the guy named Sunny. He and his compatriots are cheaters. Just walk a little bit away from the beach and you will find other guys renting bikes.

“'A lovely break'”

I have been travelling to Goa since the late nineties, usually staying at the Tamarind. On this occassion though I fancied a change, so opted after reading trip advisor reviews for the Villa Anjuna. I stayed in a first floor pool view room (209), which I would strongly recommend. My room was clean, light and airy, and aircon worked well,
I travelled alone to this hotel, and immediately met a diverse group of interesting people. Many of which made my holiday special, with evenings of really nice conversation. Yoga is also taught at this hotel, by a lady called Pinki. This created a nice vibe and good karma.
I did experience a problem early on in my holiday, which involved some loud and unruly guests. The hotel staff, who I can't fault dealt with the matter as best they could, so I would like to say thank you to them.
I rented a scooter from the taxi drivers opposite. The bike was reliable and safe. I gave 3000 rupees for my 2 week stay, which is a fair price.
There are allsorts of things i could suggest you do when you go to Goa, but i'll leave that up to you. I will mention one place you though - La Plage at Ashwem Beach.
Would I return to this hotel in the future? Yes!

“Great basic rooms with excellent service”

We spent 5 nights at the hotel during our stay in Goa. They rooms were basic, but clean and more than suitable for us. The air conditioning and water heating both worked well.

The staff was very friendly and helpful. The hotel is a 5-10 minute walk from Anjuna beach where you can find places for shopping and eating/drinking. It is away from the hustle and bustle of other more popular beaches which is a big plus.

Definitely recommended.
