I stayed here for the Fall race at Talladega. I honestly did not spend a lot of time in the hotel, but it was definitely convenient to the highway and the racetrack. We were back to the hotel within 30 minutes of getting in the car in the parking lot. As far as the hotel itself, it was much what you would expect from a Days Inn-everything worked fine, and was clean for an older looking hotel. I don't think there was an elevator, but I was on the 2nd floor, and with all the walking I was doing at the race track, it was no bother. They had some sort of continental breakfast, but I walked next door to the Burger King for a bite both days. $233/night total was pretty stiff, but not surprising for a race weekend. I would stay there again if I decide to come to another race.

I recently stayed here on July 12th and found the hotel to be a great value. The room was very clean and came with coffe pot, hair dryer, ironing board and iron, big TV, microwave and refrigerator. Internet access was also very easy. Breakfast was average but dining area was clean and well stocked. The king size bed was very comfortable and had plenty of very nice pillows. The AC unit was the coldest I have ever found in a hotel and made the visit very pleasant. I'll stay here again next time I'm in the area.

This was a good value for the price. The staff was friendly and helpful; the rooms were clean and reasonably comfortable. The southern-style staircase in the lobby is a nice touch. The breakfast was good, and the dining room was attractive. If I were to stay in the area again, I would choose this hotel.

This is my third visit at this particular hotel and I must say the staff is remarkable! Very courteous, understanding, and accomodating!
