Solo male traveler arrived at dusk and was usure if the motel was open due to lack of lighting in parking lot and unlighted Days Inn sign.Received poor service at desk, printer was not working. The room was small but below average cleaning, the carpet needed cleaning very badly. Breakfast was very minimal, fruit was not fresh, grabbed coffee then headed to Wal-Mart for a box of cereal and milk. Paid about $55 with government discount and taxes. Stayed here due to overflow at other hotels. On the plus side there was free internet, a fridge & microwave in the room and it was quiet due to lack of business. I would not choose this Days Inn for my family to stay unless it was an emergency.

It is dirty, in disrepair and has not been maintained. You will feel as if bugs are crawling all over you when you try to sleep in those beds. I could not sleep and wish we had checked out as soon as we checked in!!!!

We checked in, took the key to get in the room, and neither key worked. A cleaning lady let us in the room. The room was horrible. There was a bug crawling on the wall, the non-smoking room smelled like smoke, and the room just looked nasty. I went back to the front desk about the keys not working and ask if they had a better room. The person at the front desk just said, "I only work here at the desk. I don't know anything about the rooms. Do you want to go inspect all the rooms before I make you a key." She ended up making me a key to the room next door. These keys did not work either, so I never saw that room. I went back to the front desk, cancelled my stay, and went next door to the Holiday Inn Express. It cost more, but I guess you get what you pay for.

The serviced was outstanding. The front desk was very friendly. I even received a phone call to the room from the front desk to see if everything was alright.
The room, however, was far from great. Once we were done killing the four flies that were already in the room, we noticed the floor was very dirty. The floor looked dirty but it was confirmed when my son said he left dirty footprints in the shower after walking around barefoot in the room (We’re from Hawaii so walking around barefoot indoors is normal-after a couple of minutes we were never without shoes). The floor’s cleanliness was further confirmed when I used one of the small white towels to test it. I wet the towel and then rubbed it on the carpet for 5 seconds and it left the towel with a dark grey stain.
Although the room was non-smoking, it smelled like smoke and there were holes in the bed sheets, presumably from cigarettes. Both beds had numerous holes in the sheets. The pillows also smelled very used. To look at the motel from the outside, you would be impressed. In fact, I received a couple of compliments from my wife for choosing such a nice motel when we pulled up. There was a small fridge and microwave in the room but they were mounted unprofessionally into the wall. The setup looked really substandard with regards to the wood trim.
The room price, service, and surrounding area was alright but the room’s overall cleanliness and bed sheets were far from acceptable. Unless you want to wake up feeling like you need another shower just because you were in the room, look somewhere else. If you’re reading this, you obviously care about where you’re staying.
