property very clean, staff very friendly and helpful. driveway to hotel can be a little hard to see in the dark, but had no problems. stayed in a suite, has a seperate bedroom with 2 double beds and a tv, as well as a living room with a tv and a desk, plus a bar area with a mini fridge and a microwave. great for us traveling with 3 kids! Also had a nice balcony with chairs and a table. No free breakfast here, but what we had was good. there is a pizza hut just across the front drive, very convenient! great place to stay, we wil be back! Prices are very reasonable for the suite we stayed in!

This property was very neat and clean, the beds were very comfortable, great southern hospitality from everyone there. The property is a little hidden by the businesses that are on either side of it facing University Drive, but my GPS found it without any problems at all. I could see how it would be hard to find though if you don't use a GPS. My one and only complaint is that there is no complimentary breakfast. Even the continental breakfast has a price, which I was not willing to pay. But the breakfast bar did look very good and had a great variety of choices. Overall this was a great property and well worth the price. I would definitely stay again and wouldn't hesitate to recommend it to my family and friends!

This is a great property in the Courtyard line. The property could use the recent Courtyard upgrades, but the staff is phenomenal.

From what I could tell my room was the only room that did not have a digital thermostat on the wall. It had a thermostat, but nothing to change the setting. Settings were done on the unit itself which was confusing to set. Plus, mine did not work. The temperature would swing from very cold to very hot without changing anything. Plus, the unit would sometimes come on for five seconds every couple of minutes, and then shut off. Obviously it was broken, so I asked at the front desk to have someone look at it. While I was out someone obviously looked at it because there was no a label on the useless wall theremostat that to change the temperature to use the thermostat on the unit. Well, duh. So, I spent several uncomfortable nights waking up hot/cold, hot/cold.

I was given the handicap unit which has its pluses and minuses. I liked the big shower and not having to take a shower in a bathtub, but the vanity top was small and awkward. The doorbell was nice, but that would have only come in handy on Halloween.

Bed was comfortable, but the mattress had a tendancy to slide off the box spring, so I would have to adjust it every night. This could have been because I got out of bed so many times each night trying to adjust the temperature.

No bathroom exhaust fan, so the mirror was useless for about 15 minutes after taking a shower.

Breakfast buffet was average for hotel breakfast buffets, but I thought it was a little expensive for Huntsville. I tried the nearby Denny's, but that was probably the worst Denny's I have ever eaten at, so the hotel breakfast was probably a little better.

Hotel staff was friendly and helpful (except maintenance).

It really is probably more of a 3-star hotel, but because I could not get comfortable because of the temperature, I have to give it a 1-star.
