Nice Hampton Inn, but what really makes this location is the staff and the southern hospitality they provide. Stayed in the old wing. Typical Hampton room, but nice and clean. Heard from my colleague that the new wing had very nice rooms

Because most of the hotels we've stayed in are adequate but unnoteworthy this is only my 3rd review. This is a fairly new hotel (2009) in a newly developed rapidly growing area of Huntsville. We stay in room 423 in late Nov. and early Dec. 2011. Our room was very nice, well-done, clean and comfortable. The bed and linens were extremely comfortable. I particulary liked the wall thermostat as I could set the exact temperature I wanted. I left the fan running continuously to provide a low "white noise" effect that blocked any outside noise. The "rain type" showerhead was very soothing. Everything worked and the room was everything one could expect. The breakfast buffet was typical of other Hampton Inns but was very well done.
What is clearly outstanding about this facility is its' employees. Everyone I met was helpful and friendly. At the desk Anthony was very helpful, accomodating, friendly and capable. In the breakfast area Tammy was picking up your empty plate with a smile and asking what else she could do for you. She was taking care of everyone the same way as well as seeing to all of the food items. Overall this is the best Hampton Inn we've stayed in and at the most reasonable price. This will be our choice when we visit Huntsville again.
Just stayed one night here. All the staff was very friendly. The front desk person was very helpful, quick checkin and gave me a late checkout. Lady handling the breakfast was friendly as well and would help folks get food. Bed was comfortable and everything seemed well remodeled. Would stay here again.
We were visiting relatives and found this nearby hotel. We were upgraded to a king suite, which is a nice large room and includes a flat screen TV. Our room on the 2nd floor had a return air issue from the hall that created an annoying whistling sound...but the staff said to put a towel at the bottom of the door to the hall as a fix. It did "fix" the problem...but management needs to work on a better fix for such a fine hotel. Staff was great, bed comfortable, room clean, and the free breakfast above the standard fare. We will definitely stay there again.
I normally don't write reviews, but was extremely impressed by this hotel. Staying in mostly the HHonors chain when I travel I normally see a sharp decline in the quality and 'newness' of a hotel after about a year. This hotel was SPOTLESS! I'm a frequent business traveller so it definitely makes me feel nice to know that the management here is 'up on it'. The staff was also super-nice and hospitable. The only slight negative is that you have to travel a ways if you are doing business in town. It's about a 10 min drive to NASA or eastern Redstone Arensal gate which I don't mind. I'm definitely making this my stop when in the area.
