BEDBUGS in the bed with me! My granddaughter was in the other bed and looked over and saw a bed bug crawling on my bed toward me. We got up and trapped him in a cup and took him to the front desk where the lady at the desk argued with us that it was a tick. We decided maybe it was the only one. About 20 minutes later while in the restroom my granddaughter found another one crawling on the bed. Also evidence on the back of the mattress of an infestation of them. We promptly packed our things and checked out. Upon check out the girl argued with us again that it was not bed bugs, and was very nasty with us, demanding "Give me my keys!" and "you can't prove those came from here". This event has been documented with pictures and reported to the board of health locally.

I had a nice and relative time at the Rodeay Inn and Suites. The rooms were nice and clean and the employees were also very nice. We had such a good night we stayed two mored nights. I liked the place I don't understand why they get bad reviews on here.

This is a an awful unclean shack of a place to call a hotel. My birthday weekend was ruin after we check in!! Upon arrival i ask the front desk clerk could i see a room before pay but since she was the only one working she could not leave the front desk. I then offered to leave my id with her and view a room alone, she declined.(i should have took this as a sign and ran fast) she then assured me the room was renovated and compared them to familiar hotels. I payed cash and went to my room. The hallway and elevator was at least 95 degrees, carpet and walls was filty and cracked, ice machines broke and just dump in corners. My room smell as paint...About 2 to 5 mins later i was back at the front desk demanding my money back. Only to be rudely told i couldn't and i would have to wait until morning for a refund because only mangares could issue refunds and she was not going to wake a manger up out of his bed. I was issued a room on the "luxurious" 2nd floor...Not!!! The air would not cool the room, i was sweaty in nothing but a tshirt, the dirty phone didnt have a cord to attach into the wall, it was just place on the desk for decor i guess. The bathroom was awful...Dont shower or please have shower shoes and try not to let anything touch ur skin.!!! The bathroom light finally work after so many hours and the vanity area lights was so gross, soap dish too....I actually thought i was in a movie or being prank. I am not picky, i grew up in an urban area, but this place should be shut down asap!!!! Please stay in your car or in a mission instead of here. They should not even house criminals or even animals here!!!! Please please please please please avoid!!!!!!

This hotel is great. Perfect location. Great romms for a low cost and friendly staff. When i stayed there I felt right at home. Matter of fact I've decieded to stay there when ever I have to go to the doctor in birningham cause I love the hotel so much.
