I stayed here for a business trip for four nights. Before I carried my things into the room, I checked it out. Everything seemed OK, except for the shower. There was mold around the bottom of the handicap rail. I was like OK I can deal with that. It had a fridge, microwave, coffee maker, and an LCD TV. The room was fairly clean and the air conditioner worked fine. So as I settled into bed I turned off the lights. Then from behind the TV I saw a roach crawl up the wall & across the ceiling. I killed it a few seconds later. I woke the next day & went to work. When I got back that night, I found my key card not working, Needless to say I was kinda POed. I walked to the front desk (my room was on the other side of the hotel) and had the card juiced up again. I got back to my room...my wife (who is at home with 2 kids under 2) called on our prepaid phone. I told her to call the front desk and transfer to the room. Guess what ? She let it ring about 30 times & no one answered the phone. So, we had to use up precious minutes on our prepaid phone. Again, I settle in for the night, turn off the lights (TV still on), a roach crawls out on the wall behind the TV. I kill it. I wake up the next morning before I go to work, my wife tries to reach me again through the front desk, no one there again. As I leave for work, I go to the front desk to see why they are not picking up calls. The woman at the front desk tells me she was out giving info to the cleaning crew. I was like whatever, this week will be over soon. Once again, I get back to my room after another hard day at work, the key card does not work again, I walk to the front desk again. I felt like Groundhog Day, except in the middle of Summer 100 degrees with 85% humidity. Anyway, my wife tries calling me again the next night-They won't patch her call through to my room. She calls me again on the prepaid phone. She's on meltdown because of the kids and some low class motel won't let her talk to her husband. I have to call the front desk to tell them to let her call through. After 4 nights of not so quality service, and many visits to the front desk, my week came to an end. So to sum it up- DO NOT STAY HERE MORE THAN 1 NIGHT & bring a magazine to kill the roaches. The only good thing about this place is that it was close to where I was working & close to many fast food places. I will give it 2 stars for location.
