We stayed there in October, 2005 and our experience was very pleasant. We stayed in the Jameson Inn in March, 2006, because the Hampton Inn was booked and that experience was awful. We have already made reservations to stay at the Hampton Inn again this October and are truly looking forward to coming back.

We recently had the opportunity to take our daughter-in-law and grandchildren to see ageing Great Grandparents and stayed at the Hampton Inn Florence. There is very little more to say than it was very, very nice to spend time at the property. The staff was extremely competent and did everything possible to meet the needs of multiple rooms and small children. The rooms were great but the breakfast was even better. Would drive a long way for those biscuits and gravy. The pool was great and the kids loved it. The location was very convenient to the grandparents house and also for any of the shopping that we needed to do. On a 10 point scale, for the money and level of service I would have to rate it an "11". I quite often stay in large chain, high end properties while traveling on business and this service was equal to any of them.

I have stayed at this hotel many times in the last 2 years. Rooms are clean but a bit worn. Staff is friendly with a very nice breakfast in the morning. Booking directly with them is a nightmare. Expect long hold times and unanswered phones. Better to book on line. Out door pool good for summer use. Best value I've found in the area.
