I reached the hotel quite late at around 12:30AM in the middle of the night on 18th Dec 2011 as my flight was late and then there was long Q at Kolkata Airport for taxi.

But I found the reception at the hotel quite prompt, fast alert. At that night time, they provided me with news paper.

The room was neat and clean with towel, soaps etc. in the bathroom. Bathroom was not very big, but quite clean. Hot water is provided by geyser and available 24 hours a day!

The room has complimentary tea/coffee maker. The bar was well stocked though there was no beer in it!

The TV was normal one, not LED or LCD! worked well though! AC was also working well!

Over all, I liked the hotel! Would stay again and recommend others as well.

I was given the best room though it was pretty old, furniture were poor, AC was making so much of sound. Staffs were polite.

We stayed in this hotel for 5 days, during Nov 2011. We chose this hotel mainly for its location as it was centrally located and almost 10 minutes taxi ride to any major shopping area that we had planned on visiting. The rooms were small, however quite clean. There was ample supply of hot water and the air conditioning worked perfectly.Breakfast was included in our stay and was average. Room service was very prompt. Talking about the negatives I would definitely mention the small cockroaches we saw in our rooms on occasions and also the front desk was not too attentive to our needs for them to call us a taxi when we asked for one. All in all i would recommend this place for you if you plan your stay on a budget, want to be close to all shopping areas and do not plan to spend too much time indoors.

The stay at the hotel was pleasant.The staff was polite and prompt.The bathrooms could have been better though.There was hardly any room to move without bumping into pots and basins.The location is very good esp since it is right on the street and taxis are easy to get to and fro from the hotel.The food also could have been better.Their tea was not to our liking [but i guess tea is a matter of indiv preference].All in all a good experience.
