I had the opportunity to stay at ffort raichak after the Eid festival when the schools and offices had reopened. So, except for conference meeting crowd - we were the only visitors who had come to relax and explore the property. There are a lot of activities that can be done at the resort. The hotel room had all it could offer. The view from the balcony is very beautiful especially from the top floor where we got to stay. The garden view room however was very disappointing. Not only the view from the room was not worth the cost, the furniture in the garden view room was in bad shape. We made the right decision of taking the river view room, which had better furniture and gave a nice feeling. Since there was no crowd, we got to explore every corner of the resort. The place will definitely be lively with more crowd.
The best thing I liked about the stay was the food and the calm, quiet environment. The restaurant prices were reasonable and the food was delicious. Late at night we ordered hot brownie with ice cream on butter pecan sauce - the best I have had. There is another restaurant located next to the gym which is very expensive, but the food there is amazing. The menu was full of Japanese, Singaporean and Thai cuisine. The good food at this resort won my heart and we were happy when leaving the resort.
