I loved my two night stay at the Fortune Select Loudon! Superb location that is really close to Park Street and some wonderful eating joints including the famous Peter Cat Chello Kababs! The decor was great, the staff courteous and the complimentary breakfast was excellent! My room was really nice--- it was spacious and well furnished. The bathroom had a neat shower stall. I would highly recommend this hotel to the business traveller and to tourists alike. Great value for money!

A newly refurbished hotel fantastically located walking from the business centres of Kolkatta.
The hotels on the street housing the police commissionaire so the streets outside are clean from the riffraff and traffic and located well with respect to many offices which i had to visit
A short walk from Park Street restuarants
Food well priced with a well stocked bars and happy hours on Indian drinks for orders before 7.30/The bar on the week day was quiet.Staffs polite and rooms as they are new in good conditions.

If you are looking for a centrally located hotel in Kolkata you just can go wrong with this one. Its just off park street and walking distance from the lures of the Peter Cat Chello Kebabs and a short ride to the esplanade for street food and KC Das Roshgollas.

The staff is helpful and courteous, though their 24 Hour Coffee Shop Menu quite limited.

I forgot the book I was reading and they were even kind enough to courier it to me.

The room was large and elegant and nicely designed , the bathroom needed some touch up but clean and nothing to really be upset about.

This is a well designed, well appointed hotel for travelers who need a comfortable place to sleep and spend some time. The room service is great and the general quickness of the service is surprising. The hotel is located in a fabulous and accessible part of the city. The interiors are not over the top or jarring. Everything is just right and you leave the premises and enter feeling comfortable as can be. The rooms are spacious enough though the view from the windows is not particularly pretty! I guess that's not really the hotels fault though. I most certainly reccommend this hotel as place to stay. If you're looking for recreation and entertainment though, this is not the place.
