This property is located just a short drive to the airport so ideal for short trips. It is located right next to City Center - 2 mall so this gives you a very good option to shop, watch movies, have hair cuts and massages (at mall prices rather than 5 star hotel tariff). The rooms are good and very business like. They also have some rooms with an outdoor jacuzzi which is cool. The roof top pool is magical and gives you an amazing view of the airport. The pool is not heated so cannot be used in the 3 winter months. The Gym is well stocked. The service is very good and staff are very courteous.

The most disappointing feature of this hotel is a lack of good dinning options. The 24 hour coffee shop Cafe Swiss does not offer a lot of choices and the buffet spreads are small compared to ITC Sonar or Hilton. Secondly since the hotel is located off the city other than the mall you will need transport to go elsewhere. I would recommend this place for short stays.

First time I stayed on 30th October 2011 for 3 days and realized that its not so hunky dory as far as service goes, there were issues using attached Jacuzzi and other room service related issues. I was so disappointed that I gave a written complaint before checking out so before i left they gave me a free stay voucher to pacify me. I gave them another shot during new year eve 2011 and realized that certain things are in their DNA which are not going to change and they can definitely not be changed with a free stay voucher. I am not gonna stay there again by choice. Big name and brand falling way short on fulfilling the expectations.

We spent a week at the Swissotel in Kolkata and felt like royalty! We were there for our wedding reception. Our group had 5 rooms total and we all agreed it was a fantastic hotel. The service was so incredibly personal and absolutely amazing! The rooms were nice and big, very nice bathrooms with huge showers and all the amenities you'd expect for a great hotel. It is close to the airport and connected to a nice mall, so convenient if you need to get something or just pass the time. I would recommend it to anyone!

I and my husband went to Café Swiss for Dinner on our 3rd Anniversary. It was truly a value for money dinning experience. The staffs were very polite and helpful while suggesting which item to take. The food was extremely good. The ambience is very peaceful and romantic. I would really look forward in visiting for one more such lovely dining experience.
