It was my first visit to Kolkata, and after googling on net have booked room in Shila International Hotel. They provide me a warm welcome. The room was neat and the services were quick and timely. They provide needed help with proper guidance for city tour. Its proximity to various tourist places added the comfort to my tour. I will suggest this if anyone is looking for hotel for touring Kolkata.

“Good surprise”

The original hotel we chose was not available. Cleartrip proposed Shila International, and we accepted but we had no idea what sort of hotel it could be. We arrived quite early in the morning and were given a room immediately. The staff welcomed us warmly, was very friendly, helpful and gave us a lot of very good pieces of advice about places to visit and how to get there. We were also given the addresses of interesting restaurants in the area. A good breakfast was included and served in our room with a daily newspaper. This hotel might be considered a bit far from the town center but it is five minutes away on foot from the nearest metro station. Good value for money.
