We had selected this hotel based on the review on Trip Advisor after shortlisting three hotels.

The New Wing of the Hotel actually stood upto its expectations and the rooms were clean with good ambience.

We stayed on the 2nd Floor & the 4th Floor and both the rooms were excellent. Washrooms were clean and the service by the Hotel Staff Shankar was friendly.

The room on the Fourth Floor was excellent with a great ambience.

The Location of the Hotel was also good being just next to the Club Taxi Stand from where you get Taxis and inside the market and some good restaurants.

Overall a positive experience at this hotel.

Stayed at the olde main bellevue from 15th jan 2012 to 19th jan 2012 . Had booked the room on net. but once we saw the room it was nothing like the one that was shown on the net. Dirty linen , dirty bathrooms, no heating facility. no room service, unfriendly staff. My advice is not to stay in this hotel even if provided free.

I stayed in this hotel in Dec'11 for a night. The hotel staffs were unwilling to provide any kind of service. The view from the hotel was not great either.I requested for some night meal but they adviced me to step out of the hotel and search. I had to take a heater of Rs 300 a night but it did not work. Overall I did not feel happy.But Darjeeling is outstanding and I will visit the place again and again but will stay somewhere else.

I want to thank you Subash for all the service and cooperation you provided us.We were in difficult situation because the previous hotel we checked in were not up to the mark.Then we came to know about this hotel through internet.Thereafter we recieved excellent Service from Subash in terms of getting rooms which was very spacious and the view of Kanchenjunga was beautifull.I loved the overall ambience and the cordial behaviour of Subash and Shankar.
So I would recommend everyone to stay at this hotel and I am very much sure that you wouldnt be dissapointed.
