“Harrisons was a BAD staying expereince!”

Harrisons , the hotel looks good on the out side but absolutely terrible inside. The toilets are not cleaned, the toilet paper is inadequate and worst of all the water doe snot drain either in the wash basin nor when you shower...so you are in ankle deep water trying to shower!

The worst was the "breakfast buffet " which was a sad attempt bythe chef who did not even try to exercise the least bit f imagination to get a proper breakfast menu. The area where the breakfast was served was a sad banquet hall, with chair ssdtacked to one side, very stained carpet, tables with frayed edges, where the management could have atleast used table covers and worst fo all the plates were dirty...... when I wiped my plate with the paper napkin, a thin layer of grease came off..........appalling and replusive.

The bad part in this whole expereince was when the bathroom was flooding, I kept calling house keeping and no one turned up for a good 50 minutes! and because I complained, the housekeeping manager tried to offer me a free meal.... which Ithink was in extremely poor taste!

I regret for the incoveience caused to you.

You have mentioned there was a delay in attending to the flooding in the problem. The room was checked thoroughly before your arrival after the room was vacated by the previous occupants who checked out only at 3 pm on the day of your arrival. Since the problem would have taken atleast 30 mts for it to be rectified , Our Front Office Manager had offered you to be shifted to another room were you would have been comfortable . But since you preferred to stay in the same room .The problem was attended to and rectifed in your presence. Once again my apologies for the inconvenience.

Regarding the breakfast we have taken immediate action and necessary changes have been made.

Once again my sincere apologies for the inconveience caused.

“Avoid.”

We stayed here because it was part of a conference package, not by choice. The lobby has been nicely renovated but do not let it fool you, the rooms are in desperate need of an upgrade, they are clean... enough... the worst part is the service, ordering room service/calling the front desk for info etc is not a fun experience. Trying to get toilet paper might take a day or two. Ouch. The location is good, but I would choose to pay a bit more and stay elsewhere.

“New year party”

I decided to celebrate newyear party with my spouse at Harrisons Hotel , I expected nice discotheque and a nice dinner but the arrangements for discotheque was not upto the expectation and its not a very spacious area to dance.
we skipped the discotheque and decided to take only dinner. Dinner was good .

“Gud place for gud price”

Harrisons is a gud place for business travellers.Gud options of different restaurants and very good location. There is a nice vegeterian restaurent also. For the price its worth.

Harrisons hotel is on the main road from nugambakkam to kilpauk. Very good hotel with nice parking place, unlike other chennai hotels you need not wait for long for the entry itself. Good lobby, it took very few minutes to check in, staff are efficient enough to answer your queries and they are cordial too, Room service is good, cleanliness is very good. But only thing is nearby the lobby, you will smell alchohal, I dont know why. Washroom cleanliness and maintanance is good. Its a budget hotel with comforts
