I had a great stay at the Fortune Select Palms.

My room was comfortable and spacious and equipped with flat screen tv, modern hairdryer, safe, ironing board and mini fridge (minibar) as well as a luxurious shower. Everything was in good condition and clean. Bottled water is complemantary; I found two new 500ml bottles in my room each day, with more water available upon request and in the gym.

At one point my phone was broken, but when reception coulnd't reach me, they promptly sent someone up to fix it. They did what they could, and I found a completely new phone in the room the next day.

The internet connection is not particularly fast, but stable enough to use VPN and do office work, which is good enough for me. (Wi-Fi only)

An outdoor swimming pool is available, although I didn't use it. I did use the gym (which was okay) and the spa (also okay). The Balinese massage was really good and very affordable.

If you plan to use the pool, please consider that the restaurant is facing the pool area; if you want a little privacy during swimming, avoid peak times (breakfast, dinner).

The check-in was fast and pleasant, which was much appreciated after a long journey from Europe. The check-out took a little longer.

Not everything went quite according to plan, but the people working there did their best to meet my requests. One of them even went to the post office to get some stamps for me and post my postcards, which otherwise would have been difficult for me. The service was excellent.

On top of that, I think I experienced the best housekeeping I have ever had in any hotel.

I would come again.

Hi have been to Fortune for one day, my flight was delayed and I had to check in at mid night 12.30 but it was very smooth with the helpful staff. But they can do better as a standard from ITC. No one seemed to bother to ask how was my stay while checking out.

The room amenities are good and its comfortable. During my stay I had to access internet urgently and my data stick was not helping me. I called up hotel reception for internet access and they said they will send out the person with the coupon. I had to make about 4 calls and it took about 30 mins for them to get it to me which made me disappoint.

Overall its worth staying there but standards can be improved.

6000 INR/night is good value for this hotel. Rooms are big will all you needs for leisure as well as business travellers. Breakfast is fine. There is swimming pool at restaurant level. Not much around the hotel so either you eat there or you have a car to bring you to an other restaurant.
Tried dinner at closed by hotel (still need a car) called Aloft. It was good.
Internet worked fine.

The lobby is decent with polite staff but was not impressed with the room and had a suffocating feel to it. Breakfast was good specially of the south indian variety. Overall a decent experience.
